Or three mini Mono boats....do what you like with the cake.
Seriously, move on to monotubs. SGFC is designed for cakes. The air needs to travel upward and you are blocking almost all the surface area of the perlite.
All that sub will make a lot of humidity on it's own, just like a mono. My only concern is TOO much fae from all the holes. A mono would make more sense, but I see no reason why this set up wouldn't work as long as they cared for it with misting/fanning as needed.

Okay folks this is breaking news!!! After a few drinks my lady gave me the go ahead on scraping my 2 prestos for an AA. I'm thinking a 921 or 930 any recommendations??? 941 is too large and I have zero need for that much capacity so its off the table and that's a done deal.
TIA!

Don't scrape them. And don't scrap them either. Will be good for agar. Do the 930

The deal is both have to go in order to get my AA. I currently can't even do full quart sized jars unless I lay 1 on its side. A 1 jar PC run sucks!!!!!

I use a standard gas stove, will a loaded 930 do okay on it?
I'm not trying to use a propane burner in the drive way...
7.5 gallons seems large!!

Nice! You won't be disappointed. Also what's nice is the 930 will run on a lit of electric hot plates, where the 941 won't

I figure I'd break even after the 3rd time I run it full compared to buying pre sterilized grain.
