That's good to know about the moringa cuttings rooting easy too!

Yeah,as much as I love coleus,I don't have but a couple of plants, and they are nothing too special.

The first pic is a plant I picked up without a label and still don't quite know the name for it. The second pic is a pic of 2 of my Pilocereus.

It's a Stenocereus pruinosus.

Ok I'm just gonna post a few of the more interesting pics for now and I'll add the others the next time I get drunk:lol:

Thanks for all your help btw kactus:urinate::rolleyes:

I found this lil goober on my dining room table when I moved some of my cuttings around today. I don't know how he got there but he looks happy so I'm gonna leave him there:grin:

When you approach my front door this is the first thing you'll see. He's my precious lil Coleus Guardian. You can see his set up in the second pic and he's been there for about a month and a half. If I catch bugs like moths and shit in my house I just stick the into his web and when I stand back he runs up and takes care of them like a good boy:smirk:

Here's a pic I took pointing level at my Moringa tree so you can kind of see how tall it is atm.

Hey kactus this is the trich you sent me last year that just caught a case of the rot. The 2 trichs in the pot came from you and 1 seems to be doing really well as the other I had to cut is callousing right now:grin:

Here's a picture from inside my greenhouse. I need to graft some large pups that won't fit on my peres "The ones I tried failed because they were to large:facepalm:" so I was hoping you guys could point out some good grafting stock to try out so I can get these pups growing on their own.

Hey kactus you know what these are and don't worry buddy I got ya just give me a lil while to dry them out;) The middle peppers are Yaki Browns fully ripe that I'm gonna add to some salsa and collect the seeds from.

The first pic is my rooted red milkweed cuttings and the second is my yellows all rooted and ready to plant:super:

This is a picture of a graft that got to much sun and the peres failed so I cut it above the dead area and planted it. Here it is about 3 weeks or less later with roots coming from the peres and the trich graft:grin:

Ok the first 2 pics are of regular colored trich grafts but the third is growing with a very strange color that I have yet to see on any of my other trich grafts I'm wondering if anyone might know why it's sooo dark:shrug:

Finally Here is my strange growth Loph graft that seems to be growing so fat that it's splitting. I'm trying to take care of it and keep it from rotting. It's in my grow room dry and under bright lights with some good heat.

I'll post some of the others later and I hope you guys like what I've got going on:super:

Thank you all for all of your support lately:youthemandawg:

Awesome looking pics, as usual!

A couple of follow up questions -

First, where did you get those cool looking purple pots you have some of those cacti in?

Second, besides the Yaki Browns, what are those other two peppers you have there? They both resemble jalapenos shape-wise, but not with their color...

I think you might be talking about the pink pots. I got them from my family friend who saves all her pots she gets when she repots plants she bought. I think these came from a nursery in the next town.

Also the other 2 peppers are something that kactus grew that we think has cross pollenated somehow making something new. Hopefully if kactus names them he can sale them.

For the splitting loph graft, would setting up a computer fan blowing air gently over the split help prevent infection and assist in the callousing?

I think it'll be fine as it is. I'll keep an eye on it and if it starts looking like rot I'll emergency graft all the pups. I really need to graft one of the pups anyway so I'll probably do that tomorrow.

Nice. The reds are fairly hot but perfect for salsa. the Yaki browns get hotter as they ripen it seems because I tested them when they were green and when they were brown and they didn't even have a quarter of the heat they have now.

Those reds aren't part of that, those are just jalapenos.

Those yellow ones came from a mix of mini sweet peppers, the same pack I pictured, and none are hot.
You just happened to get only the yellow, and not the red or orange.

Yeah I noticed that too. I've been harvesting them as they turn brown/black since I assumed they were ripe at that point (hence the name Yaki BROWN). I didn't even think to leave them longer... Now I have a whole bunch of habaneros that aren't even that hot. I ate one the other day and it had practically no heat.

Oh well, I'm leaving them all to get red now. There's tons of them on the plant. In fact, I would say my Yaki Browns are the most prolific of ALL my peppers this year.

I'll have Carolina Reapers growing next year! Of course, by the time I get them, there will be another 'World's hottest pepper'...
