Those Sidia cuttings root pretty readily, then?

This id for cRm. Here's my kanna plant with it's new growth. It had pretty much stopped growing when I got it but I recently planted it in a more nutritious soil mix and it really started to take off about a week later.
I guess that's what I need to do with mine then. Mine have really slowed down/stopped growing. I had read that if you fertilized them too much and watered them too much, they get all lanky and whatnot but I think they may need more food than I am currently giving them.

Well more than half of those sida cuttings have died so no they don't take as well as I wish they did only 3 have rooted so far. I think I'm gonna take cuttings until I get at least 4 then I'll stop cutting on them.
I would agree on adding it to a good stagreen soil with some composted manure mixed 1% sta-green 2% composted manure and 1 % perlite. That was what I did.
BTW here are a couple pics I wanted to add.
 My Family heirloom Granny peas
A handful of different peas I had to shell the other night some of which are granny peas and some are a strange black pea we have no idea of what they are and a couple others.
Also here is a strange plant I've never see before that I Really thought was a mushroom till I picked it. Hopefully one of you can tell me what it might be.

For some reason I'm loosing a lot of my pictures. Anyways this is the first one of the 3 that actually rooted and it's the only one that has rooted well enough to cover the soil. The others are rooted but still have VERY small roots that you couldn't even see through the soil.
I had your name on this one from the get go;)

Here's a few more pics I've been meaning to post and a couple I took today. I hope you all enjoy
Some tomatoes I picked awhile ago some are getting ready to be juiced others are being made into marinara and a few more I picked for salsa a couple days later
Here is a pic of all the ones I picked with mutations.
I picked this weird looking mushrooms a couple weeks ago that I need to post somewhere to get an ID. I've never seen one like this before and the center in somewhat woody.
These are some random mushrooms that grew in my pot that my mandevilla were planted in. The first pic I think is soooo beautiful
A lil more butterfly porn pics I took today. There were 6 of them at one point in that same spot. I guess they're getting a drink of water or something like that because there didn't seem to be anything for them to be munching on except for the white bag because my lazy neighbor burns his trash at the corner of his yard and trash constantly gets blown into my yard if it doesn't get burnt all the way
Also there were no flowers or anything except for mud.
Amish paste tomato. Great for thicker sauces, marinara and salsa. These plants are a must have for tomato lovers and it can be used nearly any way you'd like. Just an all around great plant. BTW my aunt took a picture of me holding the top portion of the plant straight up because it and MANY have collapsed tops and bent stems but they are still putting on more fruit higher up on the stem above a few of the badly bent plants.
Here is a fruit ripening on the vine. I'm pretty sure this plant is a striped German.
This is the award winner for best flavor.
A few of my transplanted passiflora incarnata have REALLY taken of and are growing so well that they've decided to start flowering again
A few milk weed " or also known as butterfly flowers ". I took a few of these cuttings for a member that said he wanted a few of them in my MP forum. If you see this please let me know if you're still interested so I'll know how many cuttings I will need to get some to you, my pops, my Aunt and a neighbor. So far 2 have just started to spit out roots.
The orange ones like the one above are really hard to transplant where as the others "red, yellow and pink" Seem to root fairly easily.
My single Sugar Baby watermelon. I don't like melon much unless it's SUPER ripe. I've been meaning to cut it off and try it. Can anyone tell me if it looks as if it could be super ripe and ready to cut into?
Just a few of my Key Lime plants growing from seed.
I posted a few of these in the trich thread but I'd like to add them here too. From first pic to last. The first is my pupping bridge, the next is some type of strange hybrid, the third id a peruvianus. The fourth one is my heavily pupping Bridge and the last pic is my trichocereus werdermannianus graft.
A lil more butterfly porn.

I took a few pics of some interesting Loph Grafts I have today wondering if anyone could give me some info on them and why they seem soooo different other than because they're grafts.
Here is a Scion that I placed on it's stock about a week and a half to 2 weeks ago. I noticed recently that it started to bulge from the bottom in a strange manner. I'm wondering if it could be a sap build up or possibly a pup forming from under the scion? If so it's the first I've ever seen of a pup forming from anywhere other than an areole and it seems to have taken to some degree because it's pupping from an areole in the front of the graft.
This Loph seems to be growing very circular and symmetrical in appearance. I've loved watching this one grow as well as the color it's taken on.
This Loph has spit out a root recently and seem to be growing very flat but it still seems to be growing so I don't quite know what to do with it because I don't quite wanna remove it from it's stock atm until it gets a bit larger.
Here Is a Loph that has grown with some beautiful ribs and a nice gray color with a streak of variegated flesh through the middle. I've really enjoyed watching this one grow as well as the ribs have formed so beautifully.
I've spent today "My Birthday " cloning some of my more interesting looking Lophs by attempting to graft some pups to peres again. Hopefully I'll have some success this time so I can show you guys the results.
Let me know if you have any ideas on the specimens I posted above.
Some of the Lophs above are Lophophora williamsii and the others are either lophophora Fricii or lophophora caespitosa if that helps any with figuring out why there are such differences between them.

I can't say much as to why they look as they do but they are all lovely
Happy birthday too man! I hope you have been having a nice summer.
I will be attempting some trich hybrid pup grafts soon myself, can't wait until I can try it with some lophs. Those look like tons of fun
Keep up the good work man, and take it easy!

I meant to add these as well because I picked a bunch of Brussel Sprouts yesterday for some of my family and I ended up with a nice haul and still have plenty more to cut in the next few days considering my climate this was very nice and surprising just as well as the fact that they taste sooo good even in this 95F and above heat we've had the past few weeks.

Ok since I didn't get any info on this growth from under this pup I attempted to lance it upon info from a reliable member that I now believe was just a joke that I didn't get
Upon lancing it absolutely nothing happened so I carefully cut of a small piece of the tip of the growth and put it in my mouth to check taste and consistency and upon that test I've come to the conclusion that this is a STRANGE pup of some sort that is forming FAR from any of the areoles on the seedling.
Anybody wanna add anything that could help me understand this?

A member here who we all trust told me to lance it "I don't know if he would like me to use his name" and after looking at the message again it seems like he was just joking. He did say he had never seen this before.
I just decided to chew on it to feel the consistency to compare it to other cactus taste and consistency tests.
I'm about to message a bunch of the major cactus growers to check this out to see what they think because it seems as if nobody is even looking at this.

I said poke it with a sterilized needle. I didn't say anything about lancing, what ever the hell that means. Besides it's looks like a pimple and I thought it would burst. Most ideas never pan out for me and anyone who knows me knows my failures. Live and learn.

Well poke/lance it's all the same thing. I did sterilize the needle though.
It's not a sap it's strange plant growth I found out.
I'm with you though ferrel mine almost never work out either but your ideas are always welcomed by myself.

I have come to the conclusion failure is just one of the many parts of the human experience, how we deal with said failures is whats important IMO.
For instance I accidentally smashed up part of a lil variegated loph graft late last night, I think it was taking too and potentially about to start growing.
Instead of beating myself up over it to much I just looked at all my pere and started planning out more grafts Hopefully the lil guy makes it anyways.
