Your Trichocereus seems to have scale on it, but I'm (fortunately) not familar with that pest. Wait for someone else for remedy advice. Your Loph I would say has been affected by that dreaded fungus we've talked about. Isolate it ASAP. What I have tried so far with mine isn't working, and I am running out of options short of incinerating the affected. I wish I had better news for you. :\ Good luck.

scale doesn't like neem oil. I mix w/ soap per directions on bottle and mist and water with it and it is fairly effective if you water with it consistently after the initial big soapy spray down.

That's what I really thought at first too but I tried to scrape some of it off but it is built into the skin of the plant so the little spots are scars of some sort as it seems.
I'll have to check that loph with a jewlers loop or something. I think you may be right about it being fungal. Luckily I haven't been having way to many issues with actual rot lately but I have my eyes peeled.
BTW Sarah I think I'll try to put some of your mixture together and see how ell that works for me
Are there any good Organic Fungicides out there Other than the 3 in 1 Organocide I have here that seems to burn the plants I spray it on?

I use Dr Bronner's Tea Tree Hemp liquid soap, diluted, to spray on fungus growing on succulents and also cut their water back drastically.
All kinds of herbs are anti fungal - rosemary, thyme, oregano.
I wonder if tea tree essential oil dabbed on with a Qtip would burn your plants....

Ok guys got a couple new plant pics for you.
This is a Loph "possibly Jourdania" I recently grafted. I just noticed a couple days ago that the head seems to be either splitting into 2 heads or it's gonna be a crestate. Either way it also seems to be showing some variegate traits like some of my other variegated grafts had done so I'm excited to see how this one turns out
I was at Lowes about 2 hours ago and ran up on this Echinopsis var "dominos" while I was there so I had to buy it along with another because this is my absolute favorite type of cactus To have a variegate as well really makes me happy. Hopefully it's old enough to flower so I can finally cross pollinate my large one

Look for slight spines on the areoles as it grows, like this:
That will tell you whether it's a Jourd or something else. What are the other options? Looks like something from diffusae so far to me. Any chance it is a fricii?

Yea that's what I've been on the look out for. It's either a Jourdania or a koehresii most likely. I planted the seeds in a small container and I accidentally dropped it causing the seeds to "possibly" move around so that's why I'm a little unsure but it grew in the area that I planted all my Jourdanias.

Thanks for the kind words guys

I have another lil update here for you guys to check out. I hope you enjoy them and hopefully you have some ideas on how to get some back to growing.
Here's my lil double header that I originally thought might grow crestate but it just split. I thing the larger head is still growing a bit funny though.
Ariocarpus "possibly trigonus"
Here's a retusus that has just completely decided it was done growing. I guess I'll have to regraft.
This one had a case of peres root rot "it happens" so I cut it above the infection and rerooted it. Seems to be doing good so far
Here's a retusus that has a strange color and strange spine formation.
This is an Ariocarpus hintoni as far as I can remember and it seems to be fucked IMO but I think I might try a regraft because I hove the look of the lil thang.
Here is a Turbinicarpus jauernigii "supposedly because it was mislabeled when I got the seeds". It seems to have some strange discoloration.
Here's another pic of an Ariocarpus retusus graft. This is the one with the one with the wooly bottom.
Here's my strange willy that seems to still be growing pretty well even though it had a case of rot at one point that dried up. I can't wait to see what it grows into
the first is my seed grown Jourd and the second I believe is a koehresii if I'm not mistaken. Both seem to be growing well!
Here's one of my Copopia grafts.
Here are a couple pics of the grafts and their growing conditions at the time. I've now moved them out to the greenhouse to enter dormancy until spring to make room to plant my veggie seeds.
Here's my Dragon Fruit seedling that has a slight mutation. It seems to grow WAY different than all of my others.
A few Euphorbia obesa seedlings and the other side is Stenocactus seedlings.
Euphorbia seedlings under my new USB microscope just testing to see how well it works.
A couple small Turbinicarpus seedlings micro pics. The last is one that doesn't look so well.
A couple zoomed in slime pics. I have these lil bugs in a couple of my pots that leave this slime where the hang out.
A couple zoomed in pics of some strombocactus disciformis seedlings about 7 months old.
 Here are some Ariocarpus seedlings.
And finally here are some pics of my ganja the first pic is of my Auos GTA's that I'm working with and the others are of either Girl Scout Cookies, Pineapple Express X White Widow or Lemon Kush X White Widow.

Man, you've been busy! COngratulations, your plants look great. I'm glad your willy turned out fine, I was really worried about it. Your first Ariocarpus is not likely A. trigonus; although they go through some changes as seedlings, that species does not possess areoles on the tip of the tubercles (only in the axils). I'm leaning more towards A. fissuratus / hintonii. However, I'll check my A. trigonus seedlings when I get home and come back to you on this.

I stand corrected: I have a bunch of A. trigonus var. horaceki seedlings and they have areoles on the tubercle tips.

Here are a couple pics of my strange growth lophs. I truly believe one of these will go Crestate.

Also I just took some pics of my bunny I wanted to share

He's doing great BTW and gets out of his cage a lil every day so he can run around the hallway and in the bathroom where he often uses the kittie's litter box

Compared to pereskiopsis to say juuls giant or bridgesii or a torch what would the potency difference be?
What's the best cacti book for serious idividuals??
