Hi guys
would love some helps with ID these mushys found in rural south australia. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Habitat: Woodchips in a native vegetation garden, mixture of eucalyptus and banksia .
Gills: Mixture of orange to dark orange and close to black, gills are may with gaps between almost each one but not large gaps
Stem: Length - range from 2 - 4cms, diameter slim at the bottom to thick at head of mushroom, color - white - brown Cap: Diameter - 2 - 4 cms, color - orange to dark orange/bron, texture smooth,
Spore print color: looks chocolate brown to bluey purple have posted pictures.
Bruising: Blue but now turning very dark blue after 1 day of picking - this relates to the stem only as caps have gone just a darker orange
Other information: Smells like mushrooms not toxic.Al mushrroms in pics are from the same plot.
Thanks for the help

They sure as hell look like actives from here, I can't quite remember the Australia mushrooms, it's been years since I was identifying mushrooms to exact species from down under, but they are most likely active. Just rusty in that area.

Closer pics would be a great thing. My guess would be psilocybe subaeruginosa.

Hey Dude,
Thanls for the quick reply. I think they are psilocybe subaeruginosa.
Im always overly careful with mushys. I can usually get a friend to help id but hes not around and this community on here seems to have an enormous wealth of knowledge.
cheers

Yessir no problem, but please wait until a TI identifies them or get a better picture of them. But that is most likely what you found. And the Shroomery is here for people like you that don't just want to eat random mushrooms lol.

Yeah lol. I left you a reply on the other thread about how long you've been around. You ought to know a thing or two about the Shroomery and mushroom stuff in general!
