I actually kind of liked how they didn't pack too much shit in. IMO it's a better movie than the other sequels (not that that's a very high bar.)

the more people in the world, the less resources, the harder we have to work, which means less free time.
Less free time, means less time for the imagination, less time for quality things. Thats why movies have been in the shitter for the last 10-15 years. Storylines almost non existant, almost all CGI.
They should have created dinosaurs in a lab and used real ones in the movie, thats all im saying, put a little work into it

I really doubt the decline in movies has much to do with population passed the fact that the people making them can skimp on substance and still make more off a movie today than they would have in the past, simply because there are more people to pay for seeing it.
The idea that there is somehow a decline in time to get creative is what has caused it is a bit ridiculous IMO. We're living in the age when almost everything is done by computers/machines and almost nothing requires hard work anymore. We have even more time to sit around on our asses and dream shit up than we would have 50 years ago.

you're insane, the amount of time people have to work is doubled, and doubled again since a household requires women to work now unless they wish to live in poverty, and in alot of cases they still do. Then you increase it further with inflation involved devaluing the work they do. Increased worse yet because we have less land per person, and stupid laws like no chickens in citys meaning we have to spend more money on shit we used to get free, obama care, all the other fake shit to tax us. No way in fucking hell people on average have more free time, no fucking way. Also 100 years ago we had something better than machines, we had slaves. Horrible for the slaves of course, just saying.
Even the dinosaurs knew better

The people creating movies aren't single moms trying to make it paycheck to paycheck.
Gathering all the decision makers used to mean that everyone had to meet up at a central location, now that shit can all be done through video chatting, drastically cutting down all the legwork, and leaving a lot more time to the individual. Story boards used to mean having someone hand draw it, that can now be done on computers which is faster. Research for authenticity used to mean pounding pavement, making calls, reading books, now we have Google. Sculpting scale models used to mean doing it by hand, now we have 3d printers. List goes on.

your talking about what makes movie companys more money, not what makes writters have more free time.
These people still put in full weeks, or more. Its like computer programmers, oh they have some fancy new programming language or faster computers or this or that, yet they still put in more hours than the average person per week.
Also it has alot to do with culture, as the world gets more and more fast pace, which it is, then people are going to live in it more fast pace, thats a simple fact. The mind is going to change, culture changes, idea's change, the time and ability to create good storylines is fading, its being bred out of us.
Think about indians and their peace pipes n shit, we all have the idea in our head that they are good story tellers or were from the movies we seen or books we read, whatever. Why, because they live a slow pace life just chillin telling stories at least thats how its represented. Same shit in society today, poor people are typically better at talking because they have to talk there way into getting shit. They might be less educated in cases, but overall the trend is fairly clear. The poorer you are the more skills you have socially, and the richer you are the less. Social skills = better stories in general

No all of that applies to writers as well. You think someone just writes a script and sends it off and that's it? There's a ton of back and fourth communication and rewrites that go on before a movie ever gets to shooting. Writers have to do research for what they're writing about. They need visual aids to help sell and explain the idea. The visual idea aspect is the only aspect that isn't readily apparent how it frees up a writer's time, but with ease of access means they don't have to tie up as much of their time shadowing the artist and making sure the artist's depiction represents the writer's vision.
All in all, writer's today have even less of their time tied up than they did 50 years ago. With the technology we have, they can focus more on writing and less on traveling and supervising.

Jurassic World's butt threw up all over my limp cock. It sucked, and was like watching Hollywood beg idiots for money for 2 hours.

From what I understand, the movie industry has a long history of shitty slapped-together scripts. It's just that with the older stuff, people only remember the best ones.
