Is this metabolites? I inoculated this bag on 6/8/15, and shook it a couple of weeks ago.
If it is a contam (if) would I still be able to fruit, would it produce any fruit?

It looks ok. Did it slow down drastically in that spot? If not your ok. If it did stop, there is a good chance you can just cut that out or leave it and still be ok.
-------------------- Alright then, picture this if you will: 10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" post, just outside of Area 51. Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping... Holy fucking shit!

Well its in a bag so I'm confused on how you'd cut it...and yes the whole bag has been pretty slow altogether even though it's only been 34 days since inoculation. They are 2 quart bags by the way.
Would I be better off cutting that part off or mixing the grains up while still in the bag (colonized parts with uncolonized parts), then fruiting?

If colonization seems to have stopped or really slowed down I would've broken up the grains again. make sure you distribute them well so the myc doesnt have to travel far, should be very easy since you have like 99% colonization there!
