It's covered in healthy white myc. Theres wet verm falling from the top and sticking to the glass. He shouldn't have opened it but, I don't see a contam anywhere. There's definitely no cobweb...

You can even see the rhizo strands in the first picture. Look anything like cobweb?

It's that solid creamy white looking barrier you can clearly see from the side view. It's fucked.
It's easy as hell to tell once you know and understand what you are looking at. I have had jars that had a THIN but solid barrier between the colonizing mycelium and the BRF mix. After some experience you can just tell...
Bury that in an a small hole outdoors with some Hpoo and you may still get something.

100% of the time when I've wondered if I had a contam, the answer wound up being, "Yes!"
Put the lid back on and store somewhere way away from any other grows and check out for yourself what happens in the next few days.
And btw now that you've opened the lid you better start some serious disinfecting/sterilizing in that area.

OP- "So if the verm layer gets wet in the PC should I just start over completely?"
Can't be sure because we're only looking at a picture. But the "Bacteria" looks like, and is at the same spot in the jar where a wet verm barrier would be.

The myc looks strong and healthy. Why does the bacteria look exactly like saturated vermiculite? There's even flakes of it all over the top of the jar and falling down the sides. Exactly like a verm barrier. Why is the bacteria the same exact color as verm? It even has little chunks in it and you can see the golden verm flakes in the midddle. What kind of bacteria is that?
Everyone on here is so damn negative. It's like they want to be the first person to tell someone their shit's fucked up or they failed. All anyone does is talk shit. With or without knowledge, doesnt matter.

Link to the post where I first discovered that IDing contamination can be difficult when first starting out.
grainbrain and Pastywhyte gave me some excellent constructive criticism, and instead of arguing with them, I followed through on my experiment with the understanding that things would possibly crap out. And they did. So I thanked people for helping me, started over again, and now that I look back at the jar of mine in that thread, today, I'd throw it in the Schyulkill before using it for any work.
Don't get mad if someone tells you your stuff is contaminated or that your analysis on something is incorrect; especially TC and/or mods. They got where they are by knowing what they're doing. FFS, I was a research virologist and laboratory specialist for over a decade before getting into this hobby. I grew all manner of cells, bacteria, viruses, made purifications and vaccines, and I thought when I started out "how tough could this really be?" Man, was I presumptuous (and maybe a bit pretentious.) There's always something more to learn, whether it's moving from BRF jars and spore syringes to agar and grains for bulk, or going from jars to bags, learning to clone, learning to isolate, learn, learn, learn... Keep reading, practicing, and taking the advice of those who know more than you do. You won't learn anything by arguing.

it took me well over 6 months and 3 tries to get my first fruits. This shit ain't easy. And yet it's super easy. I've done it on and off for almost 5 years now and I'm still learning all the time

We aren't trying to be negative, just honest. Albeit, sometimes a little brutal honesty. The answer may be a negative one to you, but non-the-less the right answer. Sorry about the contam man. But we are not going to lie to you. We want you to succeed....
After seeing some of the different contams a few times, you will be able to spot them much easier. It took me awhile too. And I am still learning and will keep continuing to learn through my own and other peoples' experience. As long as we learn something, only a positive can come out of even a negative experience.
