Possible contamination of BRF cake

First post. I have been lurking for quite a while, reading and learning as i go. I have learned a lot but i feel i now need direct advice from experienced cultivators.
I am in the process of doing my first grow using BRF cakes and PF Tek. I have 8 jars successfully filling up with mycelium but my 9th, i think, may be contaminated.
All the pictures posted are of the same jar, it has thick mycelium everywhere apart from in one little crack. Here i can see a blueish/green kind of mold looking colored thing on the inside.
I am really hoping it is not contaminated as there is such a thick covering of mycelium in the jar it would be such a shame to waste it, however i would rather lose one jar rather than risk contaminating the rest of my jars. So all advice is appreciated and welcomed!
My questions? - Is it mold (or is it, as i am trying to convince myself, a shroom trying to grow inside the jar?!?) - If it is mold what would you advise me to do? I have read that i should not open it inside my house and in effect put it in the bin. Therefore the jar cannot be reused? - How best to find out what this growth is? I wanted to open it and give it a sniff but didn't want to do this in my home as i have read that you should never open contaminated jars in your home?
Thanks all in advance and thanks to all contributors to the shroomery as i have found it to be an invaluable resource whilst starting my shroom cultivation!

bump!.... Any takers on this? It looks like the possible contamination in my BRF cake has almost been totally covered with myscelium growth. Do you think this will be ok to put in with my other cakes in my FC if it colonizes fully? Or do you think it may risk contamination? Any help appreciated.

Here are my other first attempt cakes in my FC - i think they look good, but any advice or comments welcome.

Yes it looks sick. Regardless, if it is failing to fully colonize do not use it. Only birth fully colonized cakes. Many like to also let them consolidate. Yes you can reuse the jar if the cake is discarded.
