I've been reading quite a bit about sclerotia the last few months so I decided to jump into the waters.
It's been about a month and colonization is a bit slow but seems pretty healthy.

Tyvek. One 1/4" inoculation hole covered with rtv silicone, two 3/8" GE holes and a tyvek filter. Should be plenty.
Yeah the detail is cooler with a close up camera than the eyeball.
My inoculation area is pretty dark and the mycelium has looked kinda grey but when I brought the jars out to photograph they look OK. Relieved.

I'm not sure of the exact timing. I was going to set and forget so I didn't label.
Here's another jar:

It's been a common theme to all my ms grows for months. LC quite a bit better.
Tonight I set my HEPA air purifier horizontally on a countertop and opened the lid on a couple of these P. Tamp jars in the filtered air flow to see if the slow growth is due to poor GE. I doubt it but I figured it was an interesting low risk experiment.
Here's a pic I took tonite of a third jar showing plenty of stones on the bottom.
I actually don't think this is too bad for a month.

That looks really good for a month.I did a ATL grow a while back and they took forever to produce decent stones.I let them sit for close to a year and boy were they potent

One month isn't too long. I had some galindoi in jars for 4 months. Not because they needed more time, but I got busy. They're fantastic BTW.

we are talking about full colonization, a jar that takes 1 month to fully colonize just says something isn't right, not talking about stones and stuff

A month isn't so bad for Tamps. They're slower than Cubensis.

Oh I've got plenty of projects This is my first stone grow so I am very interested in observing the process.
Update: All the jars are either fully colonized or 99%. In contrast to the slow colonization rate the sclerotia production seems quite robust.

Those look quite differnt than some ALT#7 I've seen The ALT Fully colonize and start stone within two weeks, first jar I checked had 160 grams of stones in it after 3 months The very first pick doesn't look colonized on the bottom of the jar, looks like bacterial I've been fighting

These are psilocybe tampanensis, not psilocybe galindoi (ATL#7)
