too many people say nothing happens on salvia....i've had one mind blwoing experience and i've seen a couple others completely lose it...anyone else actually get crazy experiences?

Definitely. I have used salvia 4 times in the past week and each time something just retardedly crazy has happened.
Last night was the first time I tried using a lower dose (125mg of 5x) and it was for sure the weirdest and most disturbing thing ever. I felt like I got shot in the head and my brain was just splattered and smeared all over everything, each piece of brain still thinking on its own but unable to connect with anything else. I couldn't figure out what I was or what happened to me. I saw my room but from impossible angles at the same time, like behind me and from multiple opposing perspectives. I thought I was the wall, then the floor, then my desk, etc. It was incredibly unnerving and I am surprised I didn't shit myself because I have never been so fucking scared in my life.

yeah...salvia isnt a good drug ffor me...last time i did it like 4 months ago there were little entities chasing me in a black void and saying stuff in a very high pitched voice...
anyways id prefer swimming across a river infested with crocodiles than tripping on salvia.

Traumatizing is definitely the way to describe it. For me though, in my little experience with salvia, it seems the most truly frightening part is the beginning when you don't know what is going on and are desperately working to sort things out. Every time has been like this, but when I smoked enough to go beyond this point, it was no longer as scary, and my thoughts became slightly less muddled. Things just seemed more natural as if it were supposed to be that way. So my lesson learned has been to make sure you get enough in you to go all the way, otherwise you might just get smeared all over the place.

Here was my first experience with salvia.
Anyway i had just aquired 1 gram of some 10x. I sat in a bean bag. I turned off the lights and could only see by the faint glow of the moon. I proceded to smoke and while holding in the first hit a sudden feeling fell over me like a breeze of wind. It was unlike anything i had felt from any substance other than dmt. The quick acting is one thing i value. I wanted to have quite an experience so very shakely i loaded another bowl. With the torch lighter and finely ground salvia it may have been as much as 1/3 of a gram total.
As i held in the second toke i was hit by a train and suddenly the drug began to take ahold. My movement became traced and glow followed every motion as my view became clouded. A chill ran up my spine and i slowly melted into my bean bag. In an instant my room seemed to turn blue and i morphed into a cloud. Peace serenity and silence. Amazing. At some point as time became to have no meaning as these short 25 minutes felt like many hours, the scene changed drastically. All i can remember is rain coats, conveyor belts and aliens. I feeling of xenophobia came over me and i grew very scared. My life or more importantly kindergarden flashed before. I was being escorted around by something.
After an eternity i remember images flashing before my eyes. I wasent in my cabin and i certainly wasent myself. I felt like a blank slate with no past, no present, and no future. Worlds or universes began to pass on some sort of conveyor belt to my side and i think i was trying to pick my life. Nothing seemed right and this force was trying to push me into something that just didnt feel right. The situation grew into an epic battle as i fought my bean bag for freedom. I thought if i could get up out of it( i think salvia world and reality were clashing as it seems to intertwine here) i would get back to myself. I was very scared but i just could not get up out of it. At somepoint in my haste i must have knocked over my water as my carpeting was all wet.
So after forever as salvia world struggled to keep ahold of me i finally broke out of my bean bag and stood in absolute peace once again. (still i had no idea i was on any substance and it just didnt present itself to my mind) I stumbled around and my vision seemed odd as if to much was "there" so i tried to open the door and as i look out i kid you not this is what i see ( this pic can just best describe it)
I strangely shruged it off as the usuall and went back in to sit down. My trip dwindled from here and still the strongest paranoia grew over me for no reason. Me being a complete moron forgot to turn the a.c. in my cabin on so i was soaked in sweat. I became worried i would die and still could not comprehend i was on a drug. I decided to go outside to get air and was greeted by normal outside. I sat down and heard odd noises for a while. At one point i thought i saw a UFO but i later realized it was just a flock of birds migrating in perfect unison but it freaked me out.
So i cooled down, realized i was gonna be fine, and soon i was baseline. It was without any doubt one of the greatest experences. The line between breakthrough and amnesia is thin so i cant remember everything just as it happened or in the greatest detail. My words cant even remotely describe how i felt half the time.
Also on a side note in my salvia daze i asume when i first got up i threw my t-shirt, lighters, and my vial of salvia in the trashcan which was full of cigerette ash. Wasent fun searching for everything.
But salvia is great besides what most people think. Nothing else comparable.

My very first salvia trip took me back to my backyard swingset when I was around five years old. I was having a great time with friends and family when she came to the door and called me in... it was time to go home. I remember waving goodbye to everybody and they all wanted me to stay and play, but I couldn't... she took me by the hand, led me indoors, and I returned to reality.

When you said you threw all your shit away it made me laugh.I didn't know what to expect from it so like a dumbass I loaded up a pipe while driving to my job. took one small hit ,not much. took a big hit held it for a bit then while I was holding it i freaked all the sudden this intense tingle feeling started in my face and head then I felt it like go down my body and stop at my crotch. it was like a tingleing sorta burning sensation. I freaked out grabbed all my stuff and was fixing to toss it out the window then I just calmed back down and was just in sorta a relaxed (maybe asswhiped)state for about 20-30. I thought it was funny that you get this feeling you need to throw everything away!

and this makes me even more sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, this thread gets 5 shrooms from me, because you see I to have had very similar experiences and was wondering if other people had the same things happen, my strongest trip was so insane its hard to describe but it DID invole child like images, school bus colours, patterns that remind me of school, so many things I cant even begin to describe them all.....AND THAT WASENT THE MOST AMAZING PART
I entered a machine of some sort and it was moving around and writing things out , words , maybe symbols I dont know, but I do know I was part of the machine, as in my arms and legs were in slots!, and they moved against their will, it wasent painfull or scary, but it was like being treated puppet on strings, which I dont really like  wether tripping or not metophoric or real
Anyway, so since I didnt like that I just popped my righ arm out, and then the screaming started and it was what seemed to that 1000's of people were yelling and bicthing.
And kinda like a lucid dream it fadded out, I got up right away(which is dumb) and went to my room on the way I FOUND something, a ball of what seemed to be energy that I could push and it would move and like it had weight and stay where I put it and it could only barely be seen in the light, on a certain angle otherwise it wasent there!!!!!!!  
this effect fadded so quickly that I was disapointed , but still amazed at the trip I had.
This experience has made me respect Salvia even more, and my 2 plants get LOTS of love from me but like the indians where salvia grows wild I have more of a taste for mushrooms. 
but salvia is amazing to , and a its "NEW GROUND" at least to most of US westerners.

This shit's crazy, the first time I smoked salvia I was transported to my kindergarden years, no crazy visuals just a completely mental trip. I fell back and all I could think of was that I was in/on Sesame Street.

I smoked 20x and nothing. It was only with a regular lighter, so i believe that's why.

When you buy salvia extract what does it look like? I bought some 17X but it just looked like dried leaves crushed up. I think he may have ripped me off cause I thought the extract was supposed to look like hash.

leaves WITH a blackness to them like shakle covered in oil is what you want, but really whats even better is growing yor own and making your own extract, which I havent done with my plants yet, but there leaves alone are pretty decent when done right :tumb:

I was quite shocked when I read this. My first experience I was on a conveyor belt in a box being opened up for the first time in this reality by lady salvia. My initial feelings were of McDonald's which is definately a childhood memory because I haven't been there in ages. Awesome.

Has anyone eaten salvia? I heard thats the best way to relly experience this. I have two plant that I don't want to strip at this point but I am looking forward to it. You can eat it dry I think but it is best fresh

I have always found 5X salvia to be both strong and very fun!  I have never had a bad trip yet and have always been in complete control. I find it very similiar to a fast acid trip.
