Question about Lemon Tek

I did the Lemon Tek last weekend with 150grams of fresh picked cubensis. I drank it right away and had an out of this world experience (when back to DMT space for a bit; wasn't like any mushroom trip I've had.)
I've read that the lemon juice turns the psilocybin into psilocin. Is the psilocin less stable than psilocybin? I just picked 60 grams, and am thinking of doing the lemon tek. I'd like to give half to my buddy. But, I'm wondering if they will "go bad" or lose their potency if I make it now and we drink it at a later date.
What do you all think?

It does turn into psilocin with heat and acid according to the teams that have done research on the subject. Without the heat it may not be completely turning all of it into psilocin inside the vessel. Possibly just giving the mix a head start.
As for the storage. It can be frozen from what ive read thru other members. Ascorbic acid could also be used along with the fridge.

Thanks for the response.
Currently have it on low heat now after 15 minutes in lemon juice alone.
Any idea how long it's good for before losing potency?

Did you use heat with the first lemon tek?
Also id strain and freeze if its going to be awhile. Any addition of vitamin c/ascorbic acid will preserve the life of the mixture.

If you freeze it, I've heard people report that it will keep rather well. I think someone said it was still potent after 3 months.
FYI: there's nothing wrong with straining lemon tek. Lots of people say you have to keep the mushies in there, but that's just plain silly. Its exactly like making a tea, which works well.

Yes, I did use heat the first time. But, never boiled. Just a steady low heat which emitted steam.

I did strain it. Strained it last time and had no issues. I kept the mushies around this time though instead of tossing. I'm thinking I may eat them when I drink the potion.
I'll let my buddy know to freeze if he isn't taking for a while. Thanks, mate!

I kinda figured you did because of the descriptions. I have reason to believe that the method u r using could prove to be a more potent solution than just eating them straight at any time.
The discussion has been argued to the fullest but ive experienced dmt as well as heated lemon tek.
They were very similar and ive never experienced mushroom visuals of that magnitude before using that method.

Hmmmm. I never thought of heating the LemonTek. Then again I don't strain after soaking the powder for 20-30 minutes either. I might have to try the heating/straining method.

Sounds like a hybrid of tea and lemon tek.
I wonder if it makes the juice more potent by boiling it

I don't know about the storage question you asked but I commend you on how successfully you did the lemon tek.I'm inspired to try it now myself. I've done it with dry and with mycelia, but never with fresh.
