A slight probelm with Coir (with pics)

So as this wombat i know was harvesting this BUMPER crop that was cased in only coir, he seemed to be pulling out huge amounts of the casing layer with each fruit. If he mixed the coir with verm, would that cut down on that? Or should he just go back to using 50/50+?

FYI, first flush was 389g wet. There was 2.5 pints of colonized popcorn spawn to poo/straw mix 3 inches deep in a 10 gallon aquarium. Covered with tin foil and fanned a couple times a day. DAMN its going to be a good new years!

dont worry about the craters you leave behind,just have some sterilised coir on hand to patch the holes.

Yeah it all depends on the strain. Some mycellium is very agressive and thick so you harvest some coir chunks at the same time.

GT does that a lot. Just add some new casing, like the man said.
