I am going to clone it. I plan on spreading the bolete culture all over mother nature's face, right on the edge of the coniferous forest near my house.

Really? I thought resinaceum had a fatter cap and wasn't as vibrant red. A lot of the ganodermas look alike though so I don't doubt you.
This is some of the resin they get there name from.

parafilm- cut it down the middle, to start use three lengths (marked) pinch the end against the petri, pull until taught (you will learn), as your stretch wrap it against the petri, complete the seal by overlapping the start of the film then pulling hard in one direction. sometimes if I don't pull hard at the end it will start to fray off
congrats

I don't see why people bother with Para film. Glad wrap is way cheaper, easy to use, doesn't dry out, won't crack and works great.

I don't do anything just because someone decided it was proper. I use glad wrap because it works. I prefer agar from the health hut over any lab grade agar I've used. I find pasty plates suit my uses better than petris for most things. I do what works not what's proper. Para film is over priced and dries out over time.

Indeed parafilm is the correct tool for the job. Parafilm is great. Whether, or not parafilm is chosen to be used over Glad Wrap is going to be a matter of preference dictated by availability, and expense. Parafilm and most other cultivation supplies are WAY more expensive for our Canadian brothers, and sisters to afford. They both work, but if you can easily afford, and source parafilm a roll of it can/will last the hobbyist mycologist a lifetime.
Muda is correct about parafilm having a moisture content. Solution; keep parafilm inside of a sealed ziplock bag for storage.

what works for you might not for someone else
ultimately probably just a matter of personal preference

Tru that. I sometimes forget how easy it is to source things in the US. Use what works for your specific situation. I like to think of myself as a farmer more than a scientist.

Hasn't seemed to be an issue. I've had some bags with a contammed plate right beside good plates. Obviously, I'm careful in how i handle the bag. Always carry it flat.
