Worst addiction?

What in your opinion is the worst addiction you "could" have? You can pick two.
Worst addiction?
You may choose 2

Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute or an hour or a day or even a year but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it will last forever.

Opiates or Benzos. Benzo withdrawal is more dangerous but they're both bad.

I picked opiates and alcohol. Opiates because withdrawal is so bad for opiate users, and alcohol because it destroys people.

The computer has been my addiction for about 16 years now, it's the one that I truly cannot quit.. drugs are easy to quit, yet the computer is almost impossible. :goodmorning: My social life and eyes are not very healthy..

I chose benzos and stimulants, I would have also chosen alcohol if I had 3 choices. Benzos (and alcohol) can kill you if you withdrawal improperly, so I mean, that should beat any other type of withdrawal already

Stimulants can REALLY fuck your head up if you get addicted.

Yeah that's why I said benzos and alcohol

I feel like they should go together in the same category

Alcohol and misc, both tend to block the chakras.

Can only comment on the ones I have experience with and of all the ones I have experience with, tobacco and alcohol are the worst.

I have experience with benzo (among other pills) addiction, and they weren't that bad for me. Once your tolerance starts to climb, it starts to lose it's appeal. I love the hell out of benzos (and other pills) and will gladly eat them like candy up until the euphoria from them stops. My love for benzos is even greater than alcohol and may even surpass weed.

This just never happens with alcohol or tobacco. No matter how often I smoke/drink or how high my tolerance climbs, I can always obtain what I get from them at baseline, it just may take a bit more. So neither really ever loses it's appeal, which means it's a hell of a struggle to quit.

Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

It depends on an individual's disposition.  They can all pretty much be horrific.  I can only speak for myself in regards to mdpv and alcohol addiction, and when i think about it i'm not even sure which one i can say to be worse.

With mdpv, recovery was relatively quick and cognition returned in good order.  The only lasting damage physically was to my nose.  It was rough mentally at first, but i came out ov that quite unscathed.  However.... i got pretty much nothing out ov mdpv but depraved memories, and it troubles me to know that a substance i found nearly useless had such a grip.

Alcohol on the other hand has been very inspirational and beneficial towards my growth as an individual.  I've learned and applied more insight from booze than i have from psychedelics these last few years.  Plus i still found it fun before i had to stop.  It has, however, come at great detriment as one familiar with heavy daily drinking can attest.  Once at the point where day drinking is necessary to assuage the anxiety for a bit, things can get out ov hand.

It does take much longer to develop a physical alcohol addiction than benzos, but once at that point one has to worry about the same shit physically.  And it does'nt last too long... and it can wreck the body... and people you do'nt want to smell it on you can most likely smell it on you.

But alcohol is a relatively cheap addiction to maintain and it's legal in the country i'm in.  With illicits like heroin, one has to face the consequences ov prohibition such as fear ov arrest and unknown product quality.  Besides the withdrawal terrors, the baggage ov maintenance and even societal stigma has to be taken into account.  The worst addiction is'nt about the substance solitarily, but an individual's failure to cope with its consequential maladies.

Not the worst, but the most widespread addiction I've witnessed is co-dependence.
The idea that you need to maintain having a significant other is heavily reinforced by society.

Easy toss up between benzos and alcohol. I'm trying to take a break from drinking. I'm not even an alcoholic I just drink beer with friends when we go out to eat and shit or have get togethers. I was at this bar last night and ordered water. It was so hard to not just be like yeah man beer me... Benzos suck the worst. They are awesome but then again you get the same problem with deadly withdrawal. I like some opiates(syrup, vicodin, kratom). Those are cake to kick tho. Feeling physically sick is way better then being mentally electrocuted.

All the addictions mentioned in OPs poll are the worst depending on the person.

I will never be addicted to opiate or stimulants because I REFUSE to try them and I'm at a point where I will never sway from this belief. I would have to be forced into the habit without my consent. I had a pulmonary embolism (extremely painful) and the docs at the hospital were insisting that I take morphine because they knew the pain I would be in through the night. I refused everytime they asked. I'm scared to death of opiates.

Then again, I'm hooked on booze so.... yeah...

You're hooked on booze but you won't try opiates even in emergencies?? :lolwut:
