bad trip on mushrooms
    #21388549 - 03/10/15 06:25 PM (9 years, 2 months ago)

I'm going to tell you about my mushroom trip last night. I'll try my best to explain everything.

I harvested my mushrooms yesterday and I was really happy. I put them in a shoe box until I was ready to eat them that night.

Eating the mushrooms:
So I picked 4 of the biggest mushrooms I had. I made a pb n j and placed them in it and ate it.

The come up:
After about 10 minutes I started seeing that wood looked really beautiful. Then the other colors started looking really bright. Then it faded away. After about 10 minutes it came back and everything looked even brighter. At this time waves of feel good was going down my legs. It did this for 20 minutes. I checked the time and it was going slow. My arms and legs started feeling like rubber I was feeling good.

The peek: I was in the living room watching TV still feeling the come up feelings. Then all at once this dark vibe or heavy feeling came down on me. I started seeing things move left and right there was a bag of chips in the kitchen that looked hunger. demon face then my eyes got heavy like I smoked some weed. Then this faded away for about 3 minutes and I felt normal. The left and right movement came back, this time it had a 3D look if you don't use the glasses. I layed on the couch and was watching American dad for what seemed like hours. I started to get restless so I got up and sat in the chair. I tryed getting on shroomery, but all the words was moving like some type of code. The only ones I could read was negative words and drugs. Then again it faded in and out and got stronger each time. I got up and went into my brothers room and got a cigarette the room was really small when I walked in. When I lit it the room got really big and my arm was small and the ciggeritt was was freaking long. I was mindfucked right there. I went to set the pack out and I couldn't because the desk felt uneven.
At this time I'm up walking around, the floor was feeling like a hill. I looked up and the wall reminded of that 70's show. Then some how I kept laying back and watching American dad over and over. It felt like it was never going to end. At this point I'm stuck in a loop and I keep thinking im never going to make it out. I layed back down and heard my brother and his friends talking kind of load and I thought they was killing my brother and I start freaking out. (I knew it was the mushrooms so I didn't act out.) I started thinking while laying down and I'm not sure what happened. But I drifted off somewhere. Felt like I blacked out. I came to and some how ended up in my brothers room. I walked back into the living room and layed backed and same TV show was on got stuck into another loop.

The come down:
I walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. I had two head and my eyes looked soulless. I go back to the living room and everything is nasty. I felt dirty like I haven't took a shower in months. I go to the bathroom and undress, I couldn't get the shower door open because it was upside down I walk around the bathroom naked and mind fucked because I couldn't open the shower door. I get it open I couldn't control the water temps right I started thinking and drifted off to some unknown place. I came back thinking I turned into a handicap ( retarded) and I got sad because I was going to be a burden to people who watch me. I grab the soap in a okkward way. Made me think It was real. I finally get out and fix a bowl of cereal and it tasted like mud so I said fuck this and layed down. I started thinking I'm a meth addtic felt like I had no teeth, felt like I haven't ate or slept in months. I thought I died of hunger. Then the trip faded away and I was fine.

With that being said, I now look at the world and mushrooms different even though I had a bad trip it was fun and rewording.

Yea the restless feelings are shitty and the feeling of being dirty is all to common. Every time I look in the mirror tripping I can see my eyes are soo hollow and my skin looks nasty, shiny and awkward. food on a trip is a horrible feeling IMO it's because of the throat crawling feeling I get just like on acid but much more uncomfortable.

The view you now have of the world should seem refreshing and the farther you go down the rabbit hole the more understand you acquire.

On one of my trips I went way to far from reality and came to understand time it's self and the movement of it IMO "Not a Good thing to know" Now time seems so fast that it just passes by me like a bullet train speeding on with no attempt to stop or slow down.

That is my greatest regret from taking large doses of mushrooms and for me time will never be the same.

Just try your best to respect these powerful creatures and do not abuse them for any reason and all should be good:super:

That sounds awful. Any idea what brought it on or where the thoughts came from?

Why would it make you sad to learn this. This is the truth, time never stops, and everything never stop changing. That's just the way things are. Actually it it wonderful because you realize that you can never really be "stuck".

Most of my beliefs I acquired from my father and from John Wayne, and anything that wasn't ultra tough and ultra cool was to me ultra embarrassing. In fact, I lived in a state of near continuous embarrassment, never measuring up to the ridiculous standards I had accepted without question, applied to a framework of expectations neither I nor anyone else could meet.--J C Amberchele

almost nothing important that ever happens to you happens because you engineer it. Destiny has no beeper; destiny always leans trenchcoated out of an alley with some sort of 'psst' that you usually can't even hear because you're in such a rush to or from something important you've tried to engineer. ”

I understand what you mean but it just feels as if time has sped up. It was an epiphany or sorts and has helped me in was as well but I really just wish time would slow back down a lil. Since that day the world has never been the same.

I actually don't believe you "Came to understand time itself", since one of the first insights I had from my first trip was how SLOW 'time' moves.
Sit down a starry night and watch the moon slooowly move across the sky. Realize that the moon does this every day, 365 times a year. Then watch a star several hundred lightyears away and 'watch it move' around the galaxy.. ffs for all the eternity that this planet and the universe has existed time surely moves really, REALLY, REEEEAAAAAALLLY ****ing slow.

My understanding of time is that the less you think about it the faster it goes; the more you think about it the slower it goes.

A lot of what you said is true but my experience kind of took the wonder out of the equation. Yes I do and have chilled outside and watched the sky. I's so beautiful and amazing how this universe works. That experience I had though just kind of took the magic out of life and just showed me how much time I've wasted and that death is around every corner "so to say".

I have some issues that I'd rather not talk a lot about that runs in my family. The longest living member of my family died at 56 due to the liver problems that run on my mothers side of the family. I believe this is one of the reasons it has wore on me like it has.

^^^ This made me :lolsy:

I know the feeling... On heavy doses it can become hard to do every day tasks and you can feel your brain lacking the knowledge on how to do certain tasks... Which when sober is so easy to do and mostly automatic thinking. Its like the mushrooms cut off certain parts of the brain that helps us achieve easy tasks and make us act/seem/look retarded :feelspokeman:

That's a very mature and adult way of looking at things. Whether you're on shrooms or not, the concept of time and being unable to escape is something a lot of people can understand. With perspective, you realize that you can't be stuck because time isn't binding. We exist with it and follow it but ultimately it's an insignificant concept that only matters to us. Time (the actual physical passing expressed by the sun and moon) is real but the notion that time is limited is ridiculous because soon after, we create new times and new moments. Good realization.

--------------------
The nature of truth is that there is none. Unless referring to actually documented events, truth is subjective. The truth to a Christian is blasphemy to a Jew. The truth to a scientist is only true until he/she realizes that they overlooked an element to the experiment/finding. Ultimately, if truth cannot be agreed upon, it isn't.

-Tim
