Popcorn Jar Colonization

Hi all,
I have a question that's been on my mind the last few times I've searched through these forums regarding popcorn and grain spawn in general.
I've recently read that many times, early contamination during the prep/inoculation phase might not show until after you've spawned, but are there any early signs?
Perhaps I'm being impatient - I inoculated jars of popcorn 7 days ago, and I've noticed two jars with less-colonized areas. I'm wondering if slower colonization can be indicative of a potential contam?

I just wanna make sure I'm just worrying over nothing I guess, value y'all opinion as I'm still fairly new to this. The two previous popcorn experiences I've had, I just saw more of a uniform colonization (the unexposed areas are what my jars have looked half a week in, not a full week after)
As always, all input is appreciated!

I assume you inoculated those jars with a spore syringe, which is an MS solution. Mycelium in MS jars won't colonize at the same rate. Some may be faster, some slower. Those jars look healthy from the picture, but I'm no expert at identifying contams. Compare your jars to the pictures in this thread or wait until more experienced members chime in.
What kind of lid configuration are you using?

To ensure that you are working with clean spawn, wait until full colonization, then shake and wait. It should fully recover in 3 days. If it doesn't recover at all or is very slow to recover, it's most likely bacteria. You will know if it's mold, after the shake, because it will show its ugly face. Bacteria is almost an invisible contam, in that it doesn't have a distinct color. Your last and final test before spawning should be the sniff test. If it smells sweet or sour, it is bacterial.

Thanks for that suggestion, it was sort of what I was looking for mike. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to check before spawning all to one tub.
As for the lid, it's a quarter-sized hole with polyfill, and yes, I did use a MS syringe.
The how and how it shouldn't look thread is helpful enough, when it's obvious, sure, but I was just fretting. Have yet to see any green mold or contamination as far as I could tell in my 4 noob grows so every discoloration bothers me lol
