withdrawals from ganja
    #21918069 - 07/09/15 05:03 AM (8 years, 6 months ago)

I've been smoking 4 month's now straight all day every day medical grade "lab tested" dank stuff
two days ago I quit cold . Plans are to land a second job since I can use all extra income.

holy fuck I'm all day with light nausea and can't sleep. I shut every thing off and lay there and no lie 30 seconds in im back on my phone or reading "pihkal" just started chapter 3.
but its serious is it psychology?

I know I'll get better in a few days but its uncomfortable being 100% sober again..  I could just get fake pee and heat pad . Last time I tried that I was to hot she said that my sample was way too hot and I'd have to pee again. Had left over synthetic pee and filled the cup to my amazement it was now to cold she said. I think this bitch was smelling the cup or something like looking at my sample all extra close and shit probably thinking" where's the foam at ?

so has anyone here have examples of withdrawals from marijuana?
how can I get 8+ hours of sleep . I went to bed at 9 and didn't get a shit worth of sleep . Fawk its killing my insides I wanna just relapse but my future is more important so I scraped my pipe and cleaned it so I wouldn't even be tempted to smoke rez. Now I'm wishing I didn't just to get some sleep.

Many many stoners while I lived in Humboldt County admitted to me that if they were to stop smoking they would go into withdrawals.

Dont believe the bullshit, marijuana is a drug and immediate cessation from daily use of over strong herb will definitely mess with your head. Its not gonna kill you, but it can happen

As tough as it is right now , your sleep should be 100% fine after the initial week has passed. As for the nausea im not sure what to say other then waiting it out, in the meantime I would just recommend replacing the time you spent getting stoned with a different activity to distract yourself from missing cannabis. Good luck with the job dude !

I recently quit after daily use for 8 years.

A taper worked good for me. Like others have said after the initial week or two weeks everythings goes back to normal and i barely even have the desire to pick the pipe back up.

My only suggestion is if you can't sleep don't do something that's very stimulating.  Some people get bored reading.  But often screen time is stimulating you with dopamine releases.  And also the light from the screen is fucking with your biological clock.  Also, it's bad sleep hygiene to do stimulating activities while in bed.  Train yourself that your bed is your sleep station.  If you can't sleep for a long time, and want to get on your phone, then get up.  And if your sleeping really becomes a problem in your daily life you could take some ambien or benadryl or something just to get some sleep.  But try not to become dependent on that either.  The good news is that you know what's causing it, and it's only temporary.

And congratulations on quitting and have fun with your new found brain powers.:wizard:
