Sorry my pictures aren't too great but this is all I can get:

EDIT: took a few more pics: http://i.imgur.com/xyptNgI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/YUrhRZD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/YgIYYhO.jpg
only ever had cubes a few times and they have a smell resembling that, not sure if that's because it's just the mushroom smell lol. Grass was cut like 3 days ago and since we've had nothing but stupid amounts of rain and then a few small spells of sun. British weather!

The key photo you are missing is one of a spore print. This will be very helpful in identifying your find.
The habitat looks right for Panaeolus and the overall appearance (Although the photos aren't super clear) of the mushrooms also resemble Panaeolus. Any guess at what species they are would be a stab in the dark at best for me. Someone with a better idea will chime in and help you out soon enough.

hope they're any better
Here's the spore print: http://i.imgur.com/VR0LM7w.jpg
They were quite dry when I did it because I left them when I picked them for a good amount of time. Hopefully that's something though. Looks black

that print is too faint to be of much use you may want to dry those and set them aside until you get some fresh ones you can print from the same area.
they do look like panaeolina to me so don't get too high hopes, but prints will tell.

Those photos are a lot better. They look a lot like cinctulus or foenisecii to me... but I'm no expert.
You are going to need a much denser spore print so you can discern between jet black or dark brown. the one you've got is alright, but i cant tell if its black or brown. Maybe leave one printing overnight?
If they are Panaeolus (which i think they are) Black spores would indicate Panaeolus cinctulis or Panaeolus Ovilaceus whereas brown would likely indicate Panaeolus foenisecii
Either way, you shouldn't consume them until a TI gives you the thumbs up.
(Because I'm just a random dude on the internet)

Yeah, yours guess looks good but most mushrooms look the same to me :/ the only thing that differs with mine compared to your suggestion is most of them have a nipple or more of a stubbier nipple than the pics on the wiki suggest for that one.

Panaeolus foenisecii...those are more carmel colored, whereas the cints have more of a copper to grey color. Definitely not active.

of course, i wish you luck!
you can put a teacup or something over the cap you're printing so it won't dry as fast and give it a bit more time to drop a healthy spore print. they're so thin and small they do dehydrate pretty fast, especially foes imo
