Full Disclosure: I've never grown mushrooms... but from what I've read on the interwebs, those are aborts, pick 'em and eat 'em...

I'm sure the pros will weigh in shortly...

If the caps don't open or if they appear to have ceased growing then they are aborts, Pick 'em!

Providing that they are dried & stored correctly there will not be any harmful bacteria on your shrooms.
Making tea is optional but some people prefer it.

Definitely appear to be abords.  I have gotten abords that look a lot like that in high CO2 conditions, as your fuzzy feet and long skinny look would tend to indicate.  Also, it's rare to see aborts that large, other than in high CO2 conditions IME.

There may be other factors that contribute to aborts, I speculate genetics and light, but do not know.  Begin by addressing your lack of FAE.  The odd directions they are growing may be indicative of insufficient lighting, though I have only had that kind of thing happen in constant relative darkness.

--------------------

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister.  I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave.  I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent.
Triggered yet?

Thanks for your answers.They helped me.

I have 2 questions for the last 2 answers.

@psilo cybe

Pick em = pick them and eat them ?
And what to you mean by, making tea ? is there a process extracting the bacteria(if there any) and then eat them ? ? or making a tea by extracting the psilocybin on the water ?

@Machiavelliavore

The plastic box is inside a plastic bag who have a lot of "zippers".They are not zippers that open and close.They are on the sides of the plastic bag.I think they are for the air.
About the lighting, the box is next of my window.The sunlight does not direct hit them.The box is living in the shadows of the light.I was growing on the same spot 1 year ago.

They don't look very black. Sometimes pins just have really dark caps when they're immature. From the pic it doesn't look like they're growing any less than the other pins.

Looks like too much moisture and not enough FAE.  They may not be aborts yet but those caps don't look good.

Grow kit?

you are seriously lacking in FAE and everything looks really dry.
there's probably a reason they aborted, or at least look very close to being aborts.

take a pic of your full setup man!

You have a few options when it comes to consuming your mushrooms;

  • Eat them fresh, no precautions or preparation required.

  • Steep them in hot (not boiling) water for a while to extract the actives and then drink the resultant tea.

  • Dry them, ideally using a dehydrator. You need low RH and air movement when drying so the alternative to a dehydrator is simply to use a fan and a slight amount of heat. Cracker-dry consistency can be achieved by using silica sachets or similar when storing. Dried mushrooms can then be either stored, made into tea, eaten as-is or powdered and turned into consumables, i.e. capsules or chocolates.

You do not need to "extract the bacteria", simply take your pick of the choices above... they're all good!:peace:

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't think they look like aborts at all IME- aborts at DARK black heads and generally they don't get that big.

But: see how they are running all over the place- using all their energy to streeeeetch as far as they can? They are searching for air- meaning you need more FAE

I've seen this behavior on my V-tek containers when I was trying to fruit them in a small, unmodified tote (extremely low fae.)  They start out looking like normal pins, grow up in a sort of thin manner with the cap size not increasing and then the mushroom gives up.  It's not that it runs out of nutrients, since I know and have seen similar pinsets all grow into nice healthy mushrooms.  If I had to guess I'd suspect it doesn't think it made it to the surface so the fruit would be useless.

As for increasing you FAE, poke some holes/cut some small slits in the lid they gave you.  A substrate that size shouldn't really need massive FAE to be healthy.

As for the light thing, sounds like your lighting is probably sufficient, but also causing them to grow in weird directions, which is mostly irrelevant.

I want to thank everyone for all the answers.They helped me a lot understanding what magic mushrooms need to grow.
Im going to use your advices on my next grow.
This is the bag were i have the grow kit :

I was using 2 clips.1 on each side but now i left only 1 on the middle for letting air getting in.
Im not sure if those white things on the bag are for air.

Yersterday, i picked all the magic mushrooms.(I left some very smalls who have brown heads just to see if they going to grow up)Mostly they were small, only 1 was bigger than others.I put them in a box and left them for few hours with a fan blowing them.Today 7 in the morning me and my friend ate them.It was the first time eating mushrooms for my friend.I cant explain how he was :P

They did some work on me.Some very strong vibes for 20 minutes on my whole body and some visuals for 1 hour, only when i was focusing.When the visuals stopped, the way i was thinking and the way i was looking the world was diffrent.And im gonna keep it what way ^_^

Only love matters on this world =)
