Blah it was a lab/rot mix and it was just scared, but he got me good.
I was going to shave my beard but now with all the puncture wounds I can't really. I just tried. I trimmed it up a bit.

Yah I was lucky it didn't get my eye. I was very calm when he did it. I think he was just scared. I had just acclimated him to three other dogs, we were going for a walk, and he slipped right out of his collar. No big deal, I've gotten dogs back. Tricked it with a treat. As soon as it was in range, I grabbed the scruff of his neck and put my arm under his belly to pick him up, that's when he turned and just fucking bit right into me. I was mellow, I didn't get mad at him, but I did ask him "why did you do that"? in a calm voice. I'm against physical punishment with any animal. This dog also had been away from his owner for a while, and was just shipped up here the day before, and the owner wanted him to spend a day with me and my awesome dawgs.
Anyhow, that's what happened. I'm glad he didn't get my eyes.

I know quite a few dogs that really don't like to be picked up, or are very particular in how they have to be picked up if it's necessary.
Sounds like you handled it well though,
I wish more people were able to control their tempers with animals like that

I saved a chihuahua Friday from being ran over on a busy road here in town. Crawled under two stopped cars in traffic to get it. It got me on my 1st attempt and gave me this 'chimp in awe' bruise. The little shit is safe and sound tonight

You can't show any fear to if you are playing the alpha in the pack. And nothing they can do can hurt you either, or at least you show that it hurt you, if you do that's when you immediately lost control. It's very important to follow rules and trust of the doggies. I would have him back in a heart beat, he was a sweet dog.

I know where they used to sell it
http://www.threyda.com/
They always sell psychedelia art and apparel but they usually sell out fast and don't do the same prints over and over. They have the same artists work on there though.

I noticed rxb and psychonautica aren't around tonight, so I may as well take advantage of the fact that this thread is much less likely to get immediately crapped up.
