Youll probably get mixed responses, but thats what i do
Put it in at 180° or so and wait it out

I use a sort of double-boiler rig to speed up evap without risking toasting the tar.
Line a baking dish with a silicon slip mat, position the dish over an apparatus with boiling water (usually a pot on a burner), and pour already slightly reduced tea into the lined dish. Let it do its thing until your resin is an ideal viscosity.

I did burn mine doing that before, but my oven doesnt go that low so I was trying to get the know as close to off as possible without it shutting down and had no idea what the temp was. I have seen plenty of people say it is fine so if you oven can do it I would go for it.

My advice for drying drugs in the oven:
1) Bring the oven up to temp. 2) Put your stuff in the oven. 3) TURN THE OVEN OFF.
I learned my lesson the hard way. I like to pack weed into gelcaps, but it must be decarboxylated first. I like to grind the weed and put it on a cookie sheet, and then in the oven for 10 minutes at about 210f. Well... one time I was doing a half ounce and it slipped my mind for 20-25 minutes. I returned to what looked like a pile of dirt and smelled like burned popcorn. That stuff sat there and baked while the oven thermostat gave it jolts of heat well above the temp I set it at. I learned my lesson.. Get the oven hot and then turn the damn thing off! The residual heat will last a long time and there's no chance of screwing up like I did.
