I think I over saturated my cake.

Found out my roommate and I had been both misting throughout the day when the other was gone, picked the cake up (by the lid it was on ) to inspect today and it seems really waterlogged. What should I do?

As long as it is shimmering with no pooled water, I don't see how it could be too bad. Assuming you both knew to mist it like that, it should be fine and would be OK for more misting. Wet with no pooled water is what you want.

Ok cool,  probably just being paranoid, it's the first time I inspected up close since I put it in the SGFC so it could just do its thing. It's been in there about 6 days- has one big knot on it.
