Howdy now fellow shroomerites. First time poster, long time lurker. I hope to one day become a worthy contributor to this fine fine community.
Alrighty, lets see… I'm in the early stages of my first grow. From spore print to agar via heat sterilised scalpel I inoculated on the 27th of June 12 'almost' Pastyplates except using DFAgar and round takeaway containers (6x Pan Cyans and 6x Psilocybe Cubensis Treasure Coast). I sterilised and decontaminated my little heart out, used a SAB, gloves and coveralls and dust mask (Overkill? haha). Anywho, as much as I play pretend, I only kind of know what I'm doing and looking for so I was hoping for an experienced eye. So do they…
1) Look healthy? 2) or contaminated? 3) Any further observations?
Furthermore, 4) Where/when do you suggest going from here?
I was going to give the Pan Cyans another 2 or 3 days and then Tiger Drop into 1 litre plastic containers or some big ol' glass jars I have at home that will be filled with brown rice (Where I am proper mason jars destroy this low income earner's already holey pocket haha).
I don't know about the cubes… maybe 4 or 5 days.
Whatever feedback you have would be much appreciated, be kind though. I'm a delicate flower .
I apologise for the photos by the way. It's somewhat difficult to get a clear shot through these containers without taking the lid off. I can take more if needed!
Pictures 7 and 8 are the same. The last three are the best cube representatives.

PC 1 2 & 5 have sone good looking growth, take some transfers. Harder to say with the TC plates. Can't really see what is going on but ut does not look really healthy for cubes. Would have been good to have seen a pic a few days ago. Take some transfers and see how they recover.

My first reply is from THE Pastywhyte, Oh my
Beautiful, I'm glad to hear how I'm travelling. I did some research for contam images and descriptions but nothing really jumped out at me. You know maybe 4 days ago the TC's were almost non-existent. If I remember, two were the size of a thumbnail and with no density. Further, what emerged in the surrounding areas were many undulations/ripples in what looked like in the agar itself. I took another TC for funzies for a slighty better look. I'll give up after these photos aha. As a strange description as it may sound they look like a sparsely populated very short mycelial shrubland aha.

I really appreciate it! Oh and just super quick haha, by transfers you just mean plain agar to agar transfers? And, are you recommending at least the one transfer for both the Pan cyans and TC?
It's late here, I'll check back in in the morning. Take care.

Thanks for the words FreeWorldOrder. I'll begin the transfers tomorrow. My dog has left about half a mouthful of crunchies in the bag for me haha. If down the line... I mean... When everything goes swell I'll post my end results. There may be, perhaps, an odd post for feedback/advice aha but other than that, stay tuned .

My first rating! thank you kindly matey . Well the Treasure Coast has begun to flourish somewhat and I've transferred the healthiest of the TC and P Cyans onto further Pastyplates with another batch being sterilised in the PC now. Also in relation to your rating comment, I have definitely been perusing the boards. I have been and will be sticking real close to elasticaltiger's The Tiger Drop w/ Pasty's Agar Tek and w/ brown rice. Additionally, I am planning to build a few monotubs with the help of a few threads. Research, research, research although I do procrastinate a lot. No need to reply, I just wanted to. Whoever reads this, enjoy your weekend!
