I recently just came back from mexico to treat my opiate addiction with Ibogaine.  It worked and I have zero withdrawal symptoms after being on an opiate every day for more then 5 years and on and off for most of my adult life.  The experience changed my mind about my self and life.  I'm not one for hippie bullshit so all I can say is that the treatment was successful and I feel like I have my "soul" back.

I don't know what you mean by "hippie bullshit," or how it relates to my earlier response, but congratulations on the outcome of your treatment. I hope freedom from addiction is recognized as freedom, given your personal history, and that you have come to revel in freedom rather than languish in he slavery of opiate addiction.

I know a guy named Ed Clay that runs a rehab on Ibogaine down there.... did you happen to use his services?

Markos, you are such a self important fuck. I know I don't, and I sense many others here also, do not read your drivel.  I have never once seen you speak from a place of humility, reverence or respect. You speak down to people as if no one else can fathom the intricacies of your mind and your "vast" experiences. Your hubris is unmatched on these boards, and quite possibly the entire internet. You may sway the hearts of the 14 year old peons here, but anyone advanced enough to see through your Donnie Darko-esque primer of philosophy NOT in action hurts themselves rolling their eyes so hard at your posts.

I had an experience that was unsettling, I thought I was coming down, it was a small dose done with lemon that had produced intense visuals after which I went for about a mile walk and upon returning, for a couple of minutes, I felt as though I lived in a world that I made no decisions I was moved by the world surrounding me. It was a curious experience, it was more of a feeling than a thought process and for a couple minutes after I moved back and forth between feeling that and feeling that I did make at least some decisions.

I think to some extent our minds include some of our surroundings as an extension of what we are as a short cut to make it easier to act.

This certainly wraps up the ghost of existential anxiety as far as I am concerned. I would state it in even simpler terms, but then it would sound trivial.

And as Art Kleps once said, becoming enlightened isn't an additive process, it's subtractive.

I'll show you mine, you show me yours :tongue:

I thought they had done what they had to do in my life but i'm really glad that i came back to psychedelics, particularly because i found LSD, in my opinion as far as entheogenic substances go there is none better, i've found it has had a much more profound effect on my life when compared to Psilocybin, Mescaline or DMT, perhaps due to just being a bit older and having practiced meditation for many years by the time i came across it, although i do feel it is the pinnacle of these substances, the way it was discovered then we subsequently rediscovered the ancient medicines speaks for itself i feel

i realized that fear and love are the only things that really exist.

When I die, I am going to ascend to the next dimension where I am going to be greeted by higher-beings and they will tell me "All that existed in your life was fear. Fear of death. Fear of rejection. Fear of failure. Don't you see now, how fear is the mind-killer?"

Something there is mysteriously formed,
Existing before Heaven and Earth,
Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging,
All-pervading, unfailing,
I do not know its name; I call it tao.
If forced to give it a name, I call it
Great (ta). Being great, it flows out;
Flowing out means far-reaching;
Being far-reaching, it is said to return.

It's just a shot away..
