It's not a cactus, it's an Euphorbia. Watch out for that milky sap, it's irritating. Where did you get them?

Oh snap, so does that mean that I cannot graft a lopho on it?

I found out the hard way about the irritation, my eyes were burning after I handled it.

I got it from a friend's farm.

No, you cannot graft any cactus to it. It will probably be a good stock for grafting other Euphorbia species, though.

That milky sap, is a dead give away that it is a Euphorbia species. DO not touch the sap or laytex. it is at best an irritant.. and at worst a deadly poison. Do not get it near an open cut eyes or anthing else either. Wild fires in Africa and Madagascar kill off lots of wildlife alone, just from the smoke created from Euphorbia species. I do not have any Euphorbia species in my collection. My husband said (NO), to them. . since we have pets.
