1st grow. Setup pics. Critique

I am new to the Shroomery community but I have studied what many of the knowledgeable members are doing, feedback given, teks, pics and a lot of learning from what others have already done and failed/succeeded with. These methods have been applied to an attempt to cultivate (with a few personal touches, which are probably mostly overkill!). I have pictures attached to gather some feedback and critique on this particular setup and the results that are being achieved.
I feel like this has been as successful as it can be, coming from a person who has no background in cultivation. I have learned a lot and unnecessary money was spent trying to be as flawless as possible on the first run.
The picture of the three picked is first flush, first cake. They grew far faster than any others, before hardly any pinning had occurred.
Anyway, hope this is a start to a good relationship with the respected experts established in this community!

The fogger is hooked up to a humidistat/thermostat, designed to turn on and off accordingly, and is for humidity and the air pump with hydroton came with a kit that was ordered (that was basically scrapped). The pump system is on a 30 min on/off cycle as mainly a source of FAE, with holes drilled low as to push out the heavier co2. Most of the holes in the terrarium are taped with microspore tape because it was found that with the fogger and ultrasonic too much humidity was escaping the terrarium.
I'm sure the cakes are in too much direct contact with the perlite by what I have read. It also seems like the mushrooms are maybe waterlogged by what I have gathered from others experiences.
Light is set to 12/12. Temp stays at a pretty steady 76 degrees naturally
On the bottom shelf is an inoculation area. I heard light does not play a negative role as once thought, so the jars were put the on the bottom and put them on a heating pad with a towel over it on a 30 min on/off cycle and it stays at about 82-85 degrees. One thing that I've seen is premature pinning before complete colonization in a couple of jars. The first jar the dunk was skipped as not to harm the process already taking place, but the second jar that did it was dunked and rolled to see how it would react. It actually worked well and pinned fast with some fat mushrooms that (I think) look healthy.
I wasn't able to find much info on others that have used the same fogger, so I thought I could post my experiences with it. The few things I have heard about this fogger from people using it for these purposes is that the sensor is very inaccurate over around 80% RH. I have heard it won't reach 95% RH so it keeps running and if you can get it to read 95 then it won't drop again to kick the system back on. I found this to be the case also, but not wanting to take the loss, I looked closer. I have found that it can be used as a useful source of humidity but not totally automated (which I am learning is not as important as first thought because they need a level of monitoring for condition, contamination, etc.). First, I opened the sensor housing to poke around and found a black, plastic, round sensor cover over the sensor. It seemed to me that this could be the reason for saturation of the sensor since the bypasses are small. I took the cover off and it began working much more reliably. Before the cover was removed I could not get it to read up to 95% humidity when I knew it was at least that. This doesn't solve everything, as the sensor can still gather condensation and won't drop the reading accordingly. This is why it must be removed from the terrarium and dried with a fan or by waving it gently in the air. Misting is still done for good measure if there is not enough condensation on the walls (too much?). Hope this helps.
I'm sorry if this is super lengthy and I tried to make it easy to follow. Hope I wasn't all over the place with this one.

Why does the one fat shroom look dry/cracked? Did you do that picking it?

Not sure. I was hoping someone could help me with that. Two of them did it and they were both super fat. They were very moist though so I don't think it was from drying out but not sure.
