I just tell them I'm growing mushrooms. If they wanna get any more into it, I go into strain isolations and how clamp connections happen and basically just get over their head real quick. They'll change the subject. If they don't, even better! Just mention edibles and not Cubensis.
Remember - growing mushrooms isn't illegal. Manufacturing psilocybin is.

True! Might be a good way to meet a hunting bud or someone who has an awesome farm to tour. Worse come to worse you confuse a bunch of biology-challenged individuals

Theres always that one dude at mycological clubs that you just know isnt growing "oysters" because hes always hunting A muscaria and pan subs. They hide in the open about it and dont even get questioned

You all do realize people use dehydrators to dry chil peppers, fruit, and other veggies right?? And P/C's are for canning tomatoes etc....
