My Calea Zacatechichi is doing something unexpected!

I don't know what to think about this one. My extremely horribly bitter Calea Zacatechichi that I started as a cutting from a very small single broken stem that was no more than 3 inches long and extremely thin has decided to throw out MORE stems from underneath the soil!?
After taking the picture, uploading and cropping it I noticed a tiny green spec underneath some perlite.. turns out there was a THIRD stem popping up!! What the heck is going on with this little plant? I'm so thrilled haha.
The odd thing is, they look nothing like the main stem, so far.

Cool, they look like sports growing! Sometimes they turn out as mutations

I've got some seeds of that. I should get to germinating them.

I thought I had some myself. I just looked, and I guess I don't... This thread has me wanting to start some now...

I just need two. If I have any extras you're welcome to them. They are like 5 years old though. My friend sent them that long ago, and I never got around to germinating them, or the hoodia gorodoni seeds.

What i believe has happened is this. I could not tell you the name for it but it's like all Plants, Flowers and Herbs. For example when growing herbs, if you have 1 plant and you break it off near one of the nodes two will grow back and so on, i do this with my herbs and flowers when i want more blooms.
Your Calea is Beautiful and Cute. I bought a cutting in grew it kinda small and bushy maybe 1 foot I left abroad for 14 months and came back to a 8-9 foot tall plant, this thing was everywhere, so happy to see it growing well.
I wish the best of growing to you and your little buddy.
<SNIP>
Keep Growing!
Mod edit: You have just replied to a post reiterating the rules on trading, and then proceeded to to make offers of trades

The odd thing about this little cutting, I never trimmed the main stem, so I never gave it a reason to grow new nodes yet the main stem split into two new stems at some point. And now two entirely new stems seem to be growing from the roots!
Such an odd plant these things are.
