I'm pretty sure there are a lot of articles about common misconceptions surrounding trans people, check out some of the other ones if you don't think that one is suited to you. It was an unfair question to ask of me, since I have no way of knowing what all of your misconceptions are or which are the most common. They generally go unstated and get enacted indirectly.

Here's one that I'd say is better: http://www.vox.com/2015/2/4/7977335/trans-myths

It was not an unfair question to ask you at all .  I was asking for your answers, not ones that address my particular misconceptions , just whatever you wanted to share , which in this case (question 1) was nothing .

You do realize you didn't link that list yourself right ? I found it and posted it myself.

I hope you understand that there are extremely high expectations leveled upon me in threads like these, my mistakes stand out a lot, and it can be pretty difficult to maintain an even temper in the face of persistent and ubiquitous ignorance and outright antagonism. I don't want to act like a bitch to people who are innocently ignorant, but the fact that there are actively antagonistic people mixed in with the ignorant makes it sometimes difficult to know how to react to ignorant statements. There are people in this thread who feign ignorance out of a will to attack and slander me personally and I don't feel like giving them any quarter. I'd rather troll them and put them on display as the idiotic assholes they are. There need to be consequences for people who repeatedly and knowingly propagate distortions and lies.

Moonshoe (and many others) have repeatedly insisted that I should be perfectly kind and friendly to everybody, even those who are willfully antagonizing me, and that I should spend my time here educating people who have misconceptions. This is an enormous task requiring organized and focused effort. It would be a full time job, and I am not getting paid for doing this.

The expectations of you are no different from the expectations of everyone else , at least in terms of my expectations.

I understand that its natural for a persecuted minority to be defensive and that can lead to misplaced hostility and incorrect interpretations.

I am reading that last post as an apology and I accept it as such . No hard feelings .

yo blindsophist:

I don't have any aggression towards you just because you are a tranny.  However, I can honestly tell you that no sane man will want to have anything to do with you.  Trannies are regarded by a lot of people to be freaks.

I never said that but your totally mischaracterizing me and wildly misrepresenting and misunderstanding what I say is obviously a pattern with you.

no, she has to deal with about i'd say 75% or more of the user's here treating her like they deserve answer's for their own personal question's regarding her gender erm issues, or whatever... so it's not a pattern because she eggs it on, it's a pattern because it's what she has to deal with.

trust me, you have not a single fucking clue what you're saying right now.

It was not an apology. Cisgender people are not expected to remain above ubiquitous antagonism by trans people while educating everyone else about issues which affect cisgender people. There is an unfair double standard in your expectations and those of everybody else who has told me that I am "harming my cause" by being a human being who is affected by personal attacks and outright bullying. It is unfair, but it can't be helped, and that is why I am working on changing my tone and trying to further develop my ability to tell antagonism apart from innocent ignorance.

Akira , I learned a long time ago not to bother talking to you, so don't be surprised if I don't engage with you.

You lost the privelage of me ever taking you seriously when you had a psychotic melt down about strangling  me with labia and shitting in my mouth.

Wishing you the best in your recovery .
