I've been looking but there are so many threads with these words. I was wondering if there is a good collection somewhere.

yep, it's called your 4th grade research skills.
is it time tested? peer review? results proven? replicable by others? less than decades old? etc...
it's dreadfully easy to find TEKs that have a paper trail of success, and those that don't

Some of the blame of "mistakes" are mistakes themselves, or not the full truth.
e.g. Stamets never recomended incubating cubensis at 86F, a misquote often blamed on him, he actually warns against overheating.
Stamets is usually solely blamed for recommending to incubate sclerotia in darkness. He did recommend this in TMC but I expect he got it from a patent in the 1950s involving Albert Hofmann and Roger Heim, I never heard any blame put on them, or bad mouthing of them.
People say tyndallization (fractional sterilization) is useless and rarely works, and that hundreds have tried and failed. I cannot recall ever seeing a single person performing it as John Tyndall advised. Most instruct you to do specifically what he said will not work. So rather than bad mouthing Tyndall they are really proving him correct, and proving themselves to be ignorant.
People will say steaming is not a sufficient heat treatment technique for grains, and that a PC is essential. While some have steamed for 8 hours with great success.
Grains can never go past 100C in a microwave, they can, they can go well past it and still have moisture in them.

Sure, teks that work are easy to find. I'd like to read the teks that people bothered to make that don't work
I suppose you are correct overall though, most of this work is performed with far less than scientific rigor so it is in essence anecdotal and often a matter of preference/opinion and even luck.

It is not that I want outdated info but there are so many things that work, only work half-ass or when lucky, and many that work better.
I've been following this hobby off and on for over 20 years. In the past I have used many teks *with success* I wouldn't consider anymore such as bottom casings, honey LCs, substrates with many cups of calcium carbonate flour, pressurized gloveboxes, micropore taped monotubs, etc, etc, etc. I still see such teks in my searches often!

There are 2.5 million posts here so lots of good information, lots of bad information.
Overwhelming at first. Pick a tek, follow it to the letter and find out what works for you. If you're really confused find someone you trust and send a PM.
I recommend PF Tek first, then go to bulk, LC, agar if you want.
After a while I can pretty much guarantee that what works for you might be a little, or a lot, different from what works for others, even TCs <gasp>
Summary: There aren't really any shortcuts. Read. Practice. Read some more. Repeat.
