See these? Anyone know of other Similar minor improvements on simple machines that have been ongoing things like little mechanisms to improve normal function? Telsa cars for example. http://www.tribord.co.uk/content/easybreath-snorkeling-mask heres just a full face snorkel mask
these are all minor innovations but more on point the Swim fins are replicating seals. I was hopping maybe we could discuss the innovations of nature for purpose of comming up with something new Ill start off with my idea since hearing about mining meteors: Fly butterfly shaped wings and attach them to big meteors to guide them safe back to earth for exploitation. on topic of swimming not many electrical applications for personal use underwater aside from a watch maybe a flashlight. Could there be a reason or avenues for exploration in the field of using electricity under water.
A further question does lightning carry/relocate any noticable matter durring the course of a surge??

Could you elaborate on the butterfly wings? Since there is no fluid of significant density between meteors and earth, control surfaces such as wings would have no use in space since there is no mass to accelerate in order to provoke an equal yet opposite response from the wings and meteor.
Electrical devices are used extensively in underwater applications. There are several handheld electric propulsion devices for faster dives, electric motors are used on manned and unmanned submersibles, etc.
An average lightning strike transfers 15 coulombs of charge and 500 mega joules of energy. The 15 coulombs of electrons works out to about 85.3 nanograms of mass, while the mass equivalence of the 500 mega joules works out to about 5.56 micrograms of mass. As to the mass of air displaced by local heating around the lightning bolt, there just isn't enough data for that...although I might be able to carefully work backwards using information regarding the amplitude of the sound waves of Thunder at a certain distance from the bolt.

what kind of education have you got yourself why are you so competent answering these kinds of questions? the wings would serve as a landing apparatus while possibly something else slowing down and helping the meteor enter earth without dissolving.
my physicist friend is turning 22 today, I'm more adept at getting insight into bodily functions like sickness and cures, where I'm interested in this sort of thing I want to start making mechanisms from a 3d printer. the idea would be using lightning and vacuum to transport a combination of ozone and spores to other planets. I would 3d print possible chambers and use a dyson air multiplier and some electrical widgets for possible spore and ozone transportation.

I started reading about this and its almost an abort at this point for the sake of keeping it constant, it's tough as nails reading about electical engineering without knowing what armerage is and stuff.
