What is going on here?
    #21909410 - 07/07/15 12:00 PM (8 years, 6 months ago)

So I have had a couple of fruits popping up that have weird looking caps that develop right before veil break. I had one last night and now I have two today. The greenish hue led me to think it was trich. After doing some research, trich doesn't seem to be common on fruits and takes the whole sucker over quickly. I've seen similar pictures through out the forums and some tc say that it is just bruising. What do you guys think? Also I should add the cap appears to be kind of slimy looking. I'm not sure how bruising could cause that.

Just bacterial blotch from the caps staying soaking wet

Huh. That's kind of strange. I actually haven't had the chance to water quite as much the last couple of day's so I'm not sure how that could have happened. Thanks for the help bodhisatta. Still edible?

Yes if dried or made to tea. They look really wet in the picture even

Yeah that is the weird thing. I haven't watered at all today yet it is slimy/wet on the cap.

Poor air exchange, or constant 99% humidity

I can't see poor Fae. I have had a bunch of beautiful flushes now with no issues in this sgfc. Possibly the constant 99% humidity though. I just rehydrated my perlite maybe 4 or 5 days ago. Thanks man! I'm not going to water any more today as it seems they could use less of it.

Neglect sometimes is all they need. When I come home after a weekend I always have the nicest fruits
