Fixing the Sponge Tek; Acidified Bleach?

According to some of the honored members on this site, we cannot strictly count on alcohol as a decontaminate.
While heat is a perfect decontaminate, it can be damaging to SHIPs. Cooling down a needle can create a re-contamination opportunity.
The sponge tek seemed to make sense but alcohol was the problem. So, that begs the question, what can we replace the alcohol with that is effective. After a few searches on this site, I found a claim that acidifying household bleach can make it highly effective as a decontaminate, perhaps even 100%.
Here is the old thread about acidifying bleach:

Maybe this is a way to eliminate the SAB, or if you are willing, to further increase the effectiveness of the SAB and slightly speed up SAB procedures.
What do you think?

Nope, you don't even need alcohol in a SAB just technique.

Hmmm, iodine is expensive but the amount needed to soak a small piece of sponge would not be exorbitant. And, it doesn't have the noticeable fumes of bleach.

In general, sure, SABs are very effective with good technique. I've had plenty of success myself this way.
I even had success years ago with a terrible positive pressure box design. Sometimes we are lucky.
I'm just trying to figure out a method where I can either eliminate the SAB or avoid flaming my syringe so many times while using my SAB which has its own hazards and consumes time. Fire is dangerous and all the motion inside and out of the SAB does have its issues.
Injection ports can have contams on the surface and opening the container is always a risk--albeit relatively small--and it is somewhat awkward inside a box.

No chemical will work effectively enough to replace sterilization.
There's shit way more powerful than bleach and alcohol for industrial sanitation that still wouldn't make it so you can take an easy way out.
Peroxyacetic acid sanitizer is one of the better ones for hard non porous surfaces but nonetheless its just a sanitizer.
It would be much easier to build a sab that's not awkward or hard to work in. Why people build ones that they find to be a pain in the ass is mind boggling
