Confusion on birthing and fruiting chamber

Tried to search for a similar post, but no luck. I'm so confused on what needs to be done after full colonization, consolidation and fruiting chamber. Some methods say to dunk and roll, others say to just put the cakes without doing anything to them, some say you need to mist a lot(even with perlite) others dont mention misting on perlite method. What method should be best for cakes, with only one to two times per day maitenance?

After cakes have fully colonized, wait a week, leaving them in the jar to consolidate.
After a week, take them out and dunk them for 24 hours.
After dunking, roll them in vermiculite.
Place in fruiting chamber

This is the one time an automated fruiting chamber has advantages. A fogger or mister could help keep humidity up. It really depends on the time duration you are referring to.

the only thing more automated than an automated FC is a SGFC or a monotub.

Also, you should wait around 30 minutes AFTER you've rolled the cakes in vermiculite to start misting. This makes it so that the verm has time to settle on your cake.
Then, mist the shit out of all your cakes to promote the absorption of water via the vermiculite. Make sure not to spray too close as it will shoot the verm off your cakes.

after your cakes get to 100% colonization let them sit another week, this is the consolidation period. Cakes are highly nutritious and this is the only time you will want to have a consolidation period. After a week or until you see pins forming in the jar then birth your jar. wipe off the dry verm barrier under running water. Dunk your cakes underwater for 12-24 hours then place them on a small piece of foil in your SGFC.
Let the verm stick to your cakes for a few hours before the initial misting or you will spray the verm off.
you don't have to soak them, you just dunked them. keep the surface moist.

Oh? I thought it was beneficial to spray down the surface verm 30-90min after the roll to let the verm absorb water. This way, it can act as a water supply since it's saturated.
To each his own though. The verm will absorb water through regular, subsequent misting anyways I guess.

when I did cakes I just found it took at least a couple hours before you could mist it without half of it falling off
