mescaline
    #21903410 - 07/05/15 11:25 PM (8 years, 6 months ago)

So I just came apon some mescaline and was wondering if some people with experience could shed some light on what a mescaline trip is like in comparison to mushrooms.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I would only believe cacti as being mescaline, you probably have a bullshit research chemical. This level of trust that people have for chemicals is irritating to me at this point. Trust plants not people

I'm sure it is mescaline. extracted from san Pedro. Its not like I got it off some shady dealer. Know your sources . Any way mescaline experiences anyone? Mines the citrate salt if it matters to anyone.

Nice my man, good job  You're in for one hell of a treat! Assuming you're sensitive to mescaline that is, many find it boringly mild, I'm sensitive tho so I react kinda strongly to it

I have many cacti experiences and only one somewhat mild shroom experience so I can only compare mescaline to the nature of a mild shroom trip, but for me personally, mescaline compared to shrooms was:

-mescaline puts you in more of a dreamy tired like imaginative state where thoughts seep into your conscious mind, from your subconscious imagination, very slowly.

-shrooms would make visions pop into my head instantly from nowhere even on a mild 2 gram experience, and there was like some inner mind within my own mind that like described to me how my mind works. It was fascinating, I want to try shrooms again. It put me in a deep inward journey even tho it was a mild overall experience

-mescaline is way more feel good feeling than the more neutral feeling shrooms IMO, and mescaline amplifies all good feelings and even makes you feel all good feelings from sexual to loving to your sense of creativity, feelings of adventure, love for music..combines them all in a cocktail of loveliness

-shrooms would certainly be chaotic at high doses, I could tell that. Mescaline can be chaotic in high amounts but there's always an underlying sense of peace, Serenity, warmth, light

-shrooms seemed more like an objective magnifying glass to gain knowledge of my own mind..mescaline is more about love for other living things, feeling good..in my humble experience

-shrooms truthfully seemed to have a deeper more creative mind space than mescaline, which is why I find them fascinating

-mescaline has a much more sexual nature imho, I am straight but I want to caress and love and be sexual with all adults on mescaline.

-mescaline has a romantic and lovey dovey ooey gooey love story vibe, to me. Shrooms have a more..science fiction?? Vibe to them, in my experience

-mescaline has a lovely warm body high but can make you feel weirdly cold, mushrooms in my opinion have a tense uncomfortable body high. Maybe only because I was already worm out when I took them

-mescaline is overall way more clear headed than shrooms

-they both make my stomach feel like shit, but with mescaline that all goes away after a good purging. Mescaline gives just a flu like nausea until I purge shrooms gave me a painful alcohol like stomach sensation, didn't like that. maybe that could be eliminated by making it into shroom tea or by purging, not sure

Its like hanging out with your grandparents, I recommend classical music, or something very slow moving.

Not sure if somebody mentioned this already, but you can expect mescaline to last for a much longer period of time than mushrooms.

On one hand, mescaline feels pretty gentle compared to other psychedelics, but on the other hand, it can also rock your world just as much or more...

A lot of folks seem to recommend ingesting ginger in one form or another to help with nausea. I have seen people suggest ginger chews for the after drinking or eating cactus.

Many years ago when I made cactus teas I would often slice up ginger and add it to the tea during the boil.

IMO it helps with the taste and the nausea. I have never thrown up from it, but many people do purge.

Nothing wrong with that, but it's best to keep it down as long as possible.

Enjoy!
