when they run your name it comes back that your on probation, and they may contact your PO, they dont have to but depending on why you were pulled over they might. Being that your in a different state they may follow up with your PO to make sure that they are aware you were out of state.

Lol. Sorry. What makes u think that the probation is going to show up in another state if the run his l assuming it is valid?

Well considering all your arrests and warrants show up in other states, your probation/parole will be listed as well.

It's standard procedure for them to run your id into their computer. It definitely tells them you're on probation and it's likely they will make sure you're not violating it. Not to mention the fact on probation they can demand to search your car just like your PO could. And since he's on probation he has no right to refuse. No package is worth all the risk IMO.

Not from another state, if he gets stopped for anything minor the only thing that's getting checked is if his license is valid, now if he is getting stopped due to a drug investigation they may check a little deeper. However regardless of the checking and extent thereof, the probation doesn't mean shit and is not enforceable from the second state.

They always run your name and if you're on probation it's going to pop up with that and the terms of your probation you have to follow. So yea he's fucked if he gets pulled over.

Probation very much shows up in another state, its in the data base and pretty much every state uses it, when i was stopped with my friend driving in another state my probation showed up(my PO knew i was there). However he didnt call my PO cause i wasnt doing anything wrong or even driving the car. When you get stopped they look up the following: Driving Status, Probation or Parole Status, Caution Indicators and Warrant Status

No no, nothing is fucked, it depends what his probation is for first off. And if he is in another state nothing is going to show up. Cops are stupid for the most part, and most traffic cops r purely retarded anyhow, I don't think op should worry.

There r no guarantees. But for the most part he has nothing to worry about. Chances are he's not going to get stock anyhow.

So I could be on serious felony probation and just drive off into another state, get pulled over and they wouldn't know I ever left. I don't think so, it pulls up all your info no matter what State you're in. That's how thy catch certain violations and warrants and what not

lol that"s like saying if you have a warrant and you move it will no longer show up. Its all entered in the same database. Your probation will show up, mine showed up in a different state and it was for a very minor misdemeanor charge. Traffic cops might be dumb but dispatch is the one looking up all your info to relay to the cop to protect them, so trust me they will be notified if you have a history of running, carrying weapons, violence, warrants, parole probation, etc.

I guess no one read the part about me saying it depends on what he is on probatin for. Also wut depends on who he is on probation with. If its something serious then it very well may show up, not that the cops would do anything or that his PO would ever find out. If it's something minor it won't show up. No one said anything about active warrants.

and i guess you didnt read the part where i stated my probation for a minor misdemeanor charge showed up in another state. Fact is if its in the data base no matter how minor it will show up

Minor misdemeanors do not carry probation status as part of their punishment, therefore I can only assume everything you say is suspect. I'm sorry but I will no longer be able to respond to anything else say in this thread.

lol finally got tired of being proven wrong, and yes class b misdemeanor carries probation. I dont even count class c misdemeanors as being in trouble cause those just result in fines.
