Rice bran enriched beech wood shavings and chips, blocked in a spawn bag. Put them outside at night to try and manage FAE/Co2 without baking them completely. It's been over 100 during the day

High 70's, low 80's, they have been a pain, thats for sure.
Are yours outside? I need to build a small house inside if I want another run before the weather cools down.

I feel your pain! 100+ during the day really limits what you can do and the electricity bill goes up and up with the AC running nonstop
I will probably stick to phoenix oyster until i move somewhere cooler but we do still have the cooler months to work
Theres even a large greenhouse shiitake farm near me, they must only work 4 months a year

hey stro, im doing them inside, open air.
take a look here for a great fogger setup using an ultrasonic. i used to run a system like this for cubes. but it works really well for oysters.

im using this method with bags/mulch and a spray bottle. super low key. only need enough for the wife and i to eat. was having some tough luck in tubs. but ham and carc have some really nice tub grows.

Looks like I never did show this photo here, from a few weeks ago. Thanks for the open air recommendation Eats, a much healthier cluster.

You mean like inoculate them in open air? No, lol. I just let that oyster on the right flush out in open air.
