Coco coir brick size/weight? Damion5050's coir tek...

Getting so close to monotubs!!! 9 Rye jars just a few days away from full colonization, mono tubs prepped and ready...but I'm stuck with a small measurement problem:/
Using "Damion5050's Coir Tek" substrate calls for "1 brick" of coco coir. My coir is more of a bale and I'm not too sure how much to chop off for a brick?
For an average "brick of coir", how much is the weight? I've searched quite a few bricks online to see the weight, but each brand of brick seems to have their own version of what a brick should weigh? I've read 300 grams up to a couple pounds
Please, if someone out there can help with at least a range of what a brick should be in(especially if you've used "Damio5050's Coir Tek before), I'd be happy as a clam
Thank you for the help...little tips on things like this make a huge difference!

I think you may have the wrong stuff. Coco tree husk or something. There is something with a similar name made of similar stuff that supposedly doesn't work. I remember reading a thread about it ages ago. You should be able to find an actual brick at most petstores for like $3. I would for the peace of mind.
Even if your bale is the same stuff, unless it's completely dry, the weight will not be equivalent, nor will it require the same amount of water to hydrate. Better to judge the water content yourself.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

To be safe, I'll stop at a pet store, get a brick and try both coirs to see which works best. I'll aim for 650 grams or so per brick.

o_O, get two bricks. Buckettek the first brick, and feel the consistency of the material. Then hydrate a little bit of your bale, and see if it seems similar at all. If not, use your 2nd brick.

Will do, thank you. I'll compare ingredients beforehand too.
