First grow log WBS - Mazatapec Mexican Cubensis

So this is my first grow ever. Been researching forever. I soaked my WBS for around 16 hours and then PC'ED for an hour. Afterwards hours had passed and I inoculated via spore syringe multispore injection. I've shaken jars every now and then and lost 1 out of 6 due to contaminants. They are about 2 weeks in, half pints and almost done.
I want to spawn to bulk in aluminum trays and them case 50/50 peat and verm. Any ideas on mu bulk substrate? Or should I just combine them all in one tray and case it?

If its your first grow id keep it simple and spawn to coir. Look up damion5050's elementary coir tek.

What are you planning on fruiting the trays in? A Sgfc? A greenhouse? Because i would lose the trays for now and do a monotub.

Depends on the size of the tray, but likely you only have enough grain for 1 or 2 trays.
Generally you should only shake once after a multispore inoculation, between 15-30% to get good incolution on the whole substrate and let it sit. Continually shaking will create recovery periods and hinder progress.
Coir Vermiculite bucket tek is the easiest (damion5050) Spawn @ 1 part grain to 1.5 parts coir vermiculite bulk
--------------------
I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

UPDATE: ON THE 11Th, I spawned to coir using the bucket tek for pasteurization. I lost 1 more jar so I ended up with only 4 as I did not think it would be a good idea to use any of the jar even though it was obviously only in certain spots (wet spot). I sterilized my bathroom with lysol and tray then added coir and verm from bucket (15-20% verm 80%coir) and mixes thoroughly with a little more than 2 pints spawn. I then covered with tin foil tightly, poked 6 holes, covered with microprocessor tape, and put it into my taped up fruiting chamber.

2 holes in long side at bottom which will be filled with polyfill as well as one by each handle. Lid saran wrapped shut. Tray inside with tin foil over it and micropore tape for GE and everything else to prevent FAE. When fully colonized, I will also place wet perlite in the bottom of my FC(I haven't checked it at all)

UPDATE JULY 16th It has been 5 days since I mixed my tray and covered with tinfoil and holes either micropore tape. I was just wondering if I could peak at it to see how far along it has come.

Wait until the 10th day to take a look.
Taking a quick peak doesnt hurt anything though.

UPDATE July 22nd I checked the tray today as it has been in the plastic tote for 10 days, covered with tinfoil and holes poked in top and covered with paper tape. Should I put into fruiting conditions now or wait a few more days?

that's mold. you have (at least) 2 very distinctly different types of growth in there.
What kind of TEK did you follow? pc grains for at least 90 mins!
May I recommend Frankhorrigan's write ups. How frank gets his shit done

Just to point them out, that hazey gray layer almost like a fog floating over the surface is one type of mold. The thick white growth coming through in patches that looks sort of like cauliflower is another.
I think the fog is an opportunist that shows up when substrate is not being colonized and is a fairly superficial symptom of a more serious problem. The latter tends to appear on bacterial grain spawn, or from bad G2Gs/LC's.
No basis other than my observations for my comments.
