1) Should the jars be filled with any water or should they be very dry when going in the pressure cooker?

no, you have cooked the grains so they already have water. Some different teks will have you add dry grains to jars, and water, most do not do this these days.

2) Should I close the jar tightly with the lid or should the lid be loose when the jars are in the pressure cooker?

Also. Nothing is going to explode, it's reccommended you tighten your jars all the way tight. Then loosen the lid by a 1/4 turn, then after you pc, close the lid tightly and Shake that jar up

my father told me that if the lids are sealed the air inside the bottles will expand and the jar will explode, he said to open the lids to the air doesn't expand (he is an engineer).

The jars should have a filter, which will allow the air pressure to equalize....

And you can PC a sealed jar, people do it all the time.....it's called canning......

As long as you let the PC depressurize naturally, nothing bad will happen.....

Without dedicating too much of my brain power;

You have two holes, one for GE
The other is an injection site
And while the injection site is sealed you have an entire HOLE dedicated to gas exchange. No air is sealed in the jar that has an OPEN HOLE

You won't explode your jars

Alright then, picture this if you will:
10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" post, just outside of Area 51.
Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this.
Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping...
Holy fucking shit!

. possible but not very likely . An implosion would be much more likely and still a very dark outshot at best.

Lots of good info in this thread . Caution is good but don't over stress yourself over something that will not happen.
