What if we were to finally be 100% alone with our minds?

What if you were to get your brain removed, and like in the sci fi movies, someone was able to keep it alive in some kind of space-age brain environment capsule? What do you think?
First off, since our brains would still be alive, then our own essence, or thoughts, would remain intact. Given that many spiritual people like to call thoughts "the highest form of vibration" then we wouldn't lose a lot, if we are indeed all energy.
I got a trippy theory of what I think would happen.
My first theory is that, if we are indeed what we think, this idea being one of the cornerstones of philosophy, I believe we would gain some form of (very awesome) psychic powers. Why would we get that? I believe that if we are to remove absolutely ALL sensory input, being that our brain would not be connected to anything whatsoever, then our ability to uncover amazing abilities would flourish in a very short time, as our consciousness got used to just being with itself. I believe it would be the deepest form of mediation imaginable too, just imagine there was absolutely NOTHING to disturb you (except probably your own thoughts and inner tendencies).
I think these mental/psychics power would eventually lead to restoring most of not all of our senses too. Just imagine how WIDE FREAKIN' OPEN our spiritual eye would be. We could very possibly learn to see, hear, smell (almost like a "normal" person) and touch by pure psychic means. We would very possibly constantly be at one with the universe during the whole time our brain was isolated in that capsule.
So in a few words I think we would be able to achieve total enlightenment with all its psychic perks.
I know, pretty random question, but interesting to think about if you go deep enough . So for the sake of useless fun, what do YOU think would happen if you were to remove your brain (tip: the trippier the better!!)

I theorize that in sensory deprivation tanks, the mind explores mental space in search of a new way to interact with the world. possibly searching for new senses.

Yeah I think that's a very big possibility given that there have been so many people known for pulling off "impossible" (aka irrational for the scientific mind) stunts by just using their brain power. I really love the idea of sensory deprivation tanks and will definitely post here once I get my first experience.

I see where you're coming from. I'm a big believer in that life is merely an illusion where our senses occupy most of our brain power, therefore distracting us from the truth on a constant basis.
I definitely believe we are truly all one... with the universe expressing its infinite self in many different forms, each one of us being a unique expression of it, from its utter infinite realm of possibilities.

You may be interested in reading John C. LILLY who invented the flotation device in order to cut off sensory input.
He would take lsd and ketamine and lock himself in those isolation chambers and then write of his experiences.
