There's some bold as fuck sea gulls that hang out near burger king.  They will fly right up to you and snatch french fries right out your hands.  I said God dammit , seagull and punched one right in the face as it swooped in for my french-fries (freedom fries?).  All those fuckers steered clear of me after that.

I've seen that video, and if you're implying the guy holding the Seagull is you, that's just untrue.

Not at all.  The seagulls I was talking about lurk at Burger king, far away from any beaches.  I just like to add pictures to illustrate my point sometimes.  I apologize if I've led anyone astray.

So instead of actually contributing you're going to call me dumb? Way to contribute to the thread. There was at least 15 of us, and we are all still alive. We were not the highest things on the hill, there were big metal conducting rods with lights on, around us to warn planes of the hill, which the lightning is definitely more likely to hit than a human standing 1.8m off the ground. There were also trees. At no point did I say it was a mountain.

If at any point we thought our lives were truly in danger we would have left. Stop being an a troll (which I believe violates the pub rules - way to go Mr. Moderator) and actually contribute to the thread topic.

Me and a group of my mates went up to the biggest hill in our area and watched a storm system come in, there was lightning all around us... it was literally spectacular. Being that close to death is more empowering than any drug experience I've ever had.

What is the most alive you've felt recently?

By comparison.. kind of the same. I was on acid walking the beach at night. A storm was rolling in but it was warm out. I sat for a while listening to the turning water and watching the clouds drift in. Then I laid down and just stared at the sky. I tilted my head back and realized how large my perspective was, then I looked back up and started to feel vulnerable. All that sky was so large and infinite feeling, I thought to myself that if I didn't know any better that I could be falling through that sky. My thoughts started on how weak gravity is and how incredible that it keeps everything here. That made me feel like one wrong move and I could be falling off the edge of the world. It was as if I realized that I'm not standing on the ground, but rather clinging to an invisible force except it's more like a piece of tape that's been pulled back too many times. It was hella freaky son.

Haha, ok close to death might be an exaggeration, but there was lightning strikes all around and the storm did pass directly overhead.  We went up in 2 vans... the craziest thing is there was other random people up there too .

Don't you people ever venture off of this woven web of computers into the ...outdoors... ?

Going to work on LSD. Nobody found out but I felt rather alive compared to the mundane dead end life I'm living right now.

I can relate to this one, I was going through London on the tubes around rush hour coming up on 2 hits of pokey acid. I was quite obviously fucked but unless you're a drug person you wouldn't really notice... I was going to a Rodigo Y Gabriela concert at the royal albert hall, it was absolutely jokes. I was leading my friend who is blind from birth the whole time hahaha . I was so fucked when we actually got to the concert I had to get the staff to show us to our seats (but given I had my friend it was completely understandable). During the middle of the concert the crowd starting melting into one big blob and the music was like it was coming from 2 mexican gods :awesome:.

Playing with my niece and nephew. It is so rewarding, watching them react, laugh, learn and generally have a good time. :feelsgoodman:

The last few days have been awesome for me. New backyard, new kitchen, new everything basically.

It isn't the most exciting thing ever but it sure does the job.

Everyday I feel more alive since I was recently cured of Chronic Hepititis C Virus that had done massive amounts of damage to my liver and body.  I wake up at 5 or 6, don't feel tired, and the air smells good in the morning, and cool and fresh, and my body doesnt hurt, and I look forward to a new day and working and if I am not doing something like working then im doing shit around the house, or making music.

Now THAT is living.

i pretty regularly feel alive, maybe not so much when you get the occasional down in the dumps feeling but even then is reminiscent of all those times in the past full and angst and regret, very much an alive feeling.

this week on my day off i took a dose of mda and cleaned organized the garage and house, then cooked dinner and hosted for 9 people, all good friends. that was pretty fun, exhausting but fun.
