Quote: Some Republicans Like Mitch McConnell and Christie are complete police state fascists, but so are Feinstein, Boxer and Hillary. Also entitlements have a very specific definition, here it is: "The kind of government program that provides individuals with personal financial benefits (or sometimes special government-provided goods or services) to which an indefinite (but usually rather large) number of potential beneficiaries have a legal right (enforceable in court, if necessary) whenever they meet eligibility conditions that are specified by the standing law that authorizes the program.". Now who should we raise taxes on? The US's top tier business tax bracket is already the highest of any industrialised country (we can't keep raising the cost and expecting businesses to keep surviving here). I agree lets cut the military to that of the UK (still one of the top 5 biggest militaries, if I'm not mistaken). I am an anti fascist libertarian, so like convergent evolution we have converged on anti facism. This is why I keep my right to bear arms valued so immensely, I do not understand how you could see the disarmament of responsible adult citizens (88/100 eligible adults own weapons), Hitler supported the immensely strict gun control laws in Germany. "Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year -- or about 6,850 times a day. This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives. Of the 2.5 million times citizens use their guns to defend themselves every year, the overwhelming majority merely brandish their gun or fire a warning shot to scare off their attackers. Less than 8% of the time, a citizen will kill or wound his/her attacker. As many as 200,000 women use a gun every year to defend themselves against sexual abuse. Even anti-gun Clinton researchers concede that guns are used 1.5 million times annually for self-defense. According to the Clinton Justice Department, there are as many as 1.5 million cases of self-defense every year. The National Institute of Justice published this figure in 1997 as part of "Guns in America" -- a study which was authored by noted anti-gun criminologists Philip Cook and Jens Ludwig.States which passed concealed carry laws reduced their murder rate by 8.5%, rapes by 5%, aggravated assaults by 7% and robbery by 3%; and * If those states not having concealed carry laws had adopted such laws in 1992, then approximately 1,570 murders, 4,177 rapes, 60,000 aggravated assaults and over 11,000 robberies would have been avoided yearly. in the Sunshine State is far more likely to be attacked by an alligator than to be assaulted by a concealed carry holder. 1. During the first fifteen years that the Florida law was in effect, alligator attacks outpaced the number of crimes committed by carry holders by a 229 to 155 margin. 2. And even the 155 "crimes" committed by concealed carry permit holders are somewhat misleading as most of these infractions resulted from Floridians who accidentally carried their firearms into restricted areas, such as an airport. * Armed citizens kill more crooks than do the police. Citizens shoot and kill at least twice as many criminals as police do every year (1,527 to 606). And readers of Newsweek learned that "only 2 percent of civilian shootings involved an innocent person mistakenly identified as a criminal. The 'error rate' for the police, however, was 11 percent, more than five times as high." * Handguns are the weapon of choice for self-defence. Citizens use handguns to protect themselves over 1.9 million times a year. I am against the disarmament of my country because I know only shortly thereafter will fascism ensue be it 100 years or 1000, the disarmament of the people is the first step. -------------------- Everything I post should be regarded as wholly fictitious or hypothetical, nothing I post has any basis in reality.

And don't get me started on immigration policy, at least Bernie Sanders has a fair enough immigration policy to please a lot of people, but Hillary wants open borders and that won't be good for all the (statistically speaking) poor people who vote for democrats. 51% of African Americans are unemployed do you think it's smart to bring in millions of more unskilled workers? The ideal liberal future is to open borders, ban the confederate flag, fill our country with unskilled foreigners so we permanently vote democratic, we nullify the constitution, become a massive communist liberal state, the guns are taken and then big brother will be happy.

Merger of corporate and state power, in its most blatant expression. Fascists never took away guns, by the way. To the contrary, the Nazis reversed gun control laws. Quote: I suppose corporate tax subsidies fall in this category quite nicely. Yes, I can think of some entitlements to cut ;-) However, it doesn't even make sense to talk about cutting Social Security and Medicaid. That money has been put away for decades, and it's not meant to be touched by the government. That is an entitlement directly paid for by US citizens, and proportionately distributed depending on their contribution. Quote: Well that's just a flat out lie. Obama's taxes are lower than Reagan's, and it's killing America. From the end of WW2 until 1981, the richest Americans faced a top marginal tax rate of 70% or higher. Under Eisenhower it was 91 percent. Even after all deductions and credits, the top taxes on the very rich were far higher than they’ve been since. Yet the economy grew faster during those years than it has since. Google and Amazon didn't pay a red cent in taxes last year. I guess they weren't very profitable ;-). Effectively we do not have the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world. What we need to do is kill the free trade agreements, and raise taxes on the wealthy back to reasonable levels. Obama's 35% top marginal tax rate isn't cutting it! Quote: Another lie. Hitler actually overturned gun restrictions of his predecessor. Look it up, I already linked it to you previously. When you make claims like that, please cite them too, and don't use Alex Jones, please! ;-) Quote: Yeah, I'd like to see evidence of THAT claim!!! lmao Quote: Citations? Where are you getting your info bro. If you cut and pasted that shit, then you have to provide a link. Quote: Bringing a firearm to an airport is not only stupid, but kindof scary. It is clearly a crime. Guns do more than shoot people, as you've eluded. They scare people. Especially at an airport. Quote: Just link where you cut all this shit from. Fascism isn't anti-gun. You are mistaken. Quote: This is not necessarily a liberal ideal. Americans on the whole do not support opening the boarders: http://www.fairus.org/facts/publ http://www.fairus.org/facts/lega I think the mainstream status quo politicians like Hillary, Obama, and many GOPer's are in favor of open boarders, because it's good for their donors. He's the only Liberal running. Quote: Right wing fear mongering has really driven you kindof loony, dude. Do you believe in FEMA camps? I'm just curious. >Your statement is foolish and ignorant and historically inaccurate. Facts are facts.
Now you are trolling, you are getting as bad as woof. I said shrub negotiated an end to the Iraq war, which is true. You created the strawman argument that the war was already over when obumble took over which is not what I said. If you want to be taken seriously and not considered a troll you need to debate more honestly. Shrub negotiated an end to it, obumble did not. I know you don't care for that fact but its a matter of record like it or not. All obumble did was keep sending troops in so that our people kept dying and trillions more were spent on nothing. You call that bum the "peace" president?? He restarted the Iraq war when we could have simply pulled out and let them fight it out among themselves. Its not our job to keep the puppet govt in power forever. Likewise he kept the afghan war going, sent troops or arms into so many countries its hard to keep track of and tried to get authorization for a full scale Syrian invasion. I think calling him the war president is a lot more accurate, wouldn't you say? As others have pointed out, he vetoed any sort of balanced or semi balanced budget and would only sign bills that greatly increased the deficit. But to you its mostly the fault of the gop. You rant and rail against them and then toss in a couple words about dems not being so good either. Both parties are part of the duopoly which has the same goals, a socialist state. -------------------- “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. Quote: You want facts, here they are: 1. GWB started the war in Iraq. It was a huge mistake sold to the public on faulty intel and he had many options other than a ground invasion after he got authorization for war ... which he sold to our Congress based on bad intel 2. The war was not over when GWB left office and we were not negotiating, we were fighting and dying in Iraq when he left office. He didn't get the job done and he had 5 years to do it. WW2 was won in less time. 3. GWB didn't close any deals at all on our continuing presence there. 4. GWB put a process in place that gave Iraq an Iranian leaning leader ... almost immediately after he got power (Maliki) 5. Maliki destroyed whatever "peace" existed in Iraq by punishing the Sunni leaders and siding with Iran 6. Obama and GWB both were fiscal cowards and neither one did what was necessary to get us on a sustainable path with the right investments for the right things to improve our country Those are facts. Not opinions. FACTS. You push parties, I don't. I see the problems with both parties. -------------------- "The universe is endless, limitless and infinite. KO, you have reached the comical stage in your defense of obumble, libs and dems in general.
>Maybe, just maybe, he wanted to put some pressure on the Iraqis to fight for their own country for once. Lol, you could justify everything shrub did using your logic. >Obama's got the right approach. Give em air and logistics support and force the Arabs to do their own fighting on the ground. Again you push war, why the hell should we be over there at all? You want us to bomb other countries and try to pick winners. LDS already straightened out your misinformation about shrub and obumble. >You push parties, I don't. What party have I ever pushed? I do not support gop if that is your current fantasy. Quote: Not even close, bud ... I'm a Libertarian if anything. I'm realistic. I know there is no way an independent or 100% anti-war candidate will get elected in this country. It isn't going to happen. My ideal President would call every leader of the free world in his first week and tell them the US is out of the offensive war business and if anyone attacks us or allows groups that do attack us to organize in their country, then we will respond with massive force, so get your shit together, get after the bad guys in your own country, we'll do the same and we're going to get tough on our borders, with student visas and travel to and from the obvious terrorism countries. In other words, don't fuck with us and we won't fuck with you. And if you don't have the guts to take out the terrorists in your own country you are taking one helluva risk if they attack us from bases inside your borders. But that's not going to happen. The MIC has way to strong a grip on our elections process, the media and our politicians. As such Obama > GWB / McCain ... it has nothing to do with Party, it's just he's less likely to get us into another stupid multi trillion dollar ground war. And he's proven that. The list of his fuck-ups is long, I've already said that. But compared to the alternative (McCain) he was the best option. If McCain had been elected, we would probably be in three ground wars simultaneously right now ... -------------------- "The universe is endless, limitless and infinite. Yes, its extremely obvious and his left wing dem views are obvious. He makes up the most ridiculous things like saying obumble ended the Iraq war. With the major media behind him he managed to beat a right wing nut like mccaine and then storm sandy helped him squeak by in another election that was probably stolen if the truth be known. But KO thinks he is brilliant.

You say hitler reversed gun control laws lets see some evidence, because everything I have ever seen shows Hitler strongly supported Germany's gun control laws. During the five years of repression that followed, society was “cleansed” by the National Socialist regime. Undesirables were placed in camps where labor made them “free,” and normal rights of citizenship were taken from Jews. The Gestapo banned independent gun clubs and arrested their leaders. Gestapo counsel Werner Best issued a directive to the police forbidding issuance of firearm permits to Jews. In 1938, Hitler signed a new Gun Control Act. Now that many “enemies of the state” had been removed from society, some restrictions could be slightly liberalized, especially for Nazi Party members. But Jews were prohibited from working in the firearms industry, and .22 caliber hollow-point ammunition was banned.
Here are the links to the facts about guns saving lives: According to the National Safety Council, the total number of gun deaths (by accidents, suicides and homicides) account for less than 30,000 deaths per year. See Injury Facts, published yearly by the National Safety Council, Itasca, Illinois. [3] Kleck and Gertz, "Armed Resistance to Crime," at 173, 185.
