Latinos don't like him because he's a dick and has insulted a whole freaking ethnicity. Im half latino, and i hate him. Hes self centered, an open liar, and most likely won't help the majority of people.

He has issue with illegals and their family members staying inside the US, guess what?  The large majority of US citizens agree with Trump on this issue.

"he has insulted a whole freaking ethnicity"

The fact that most illegals are Hispanic is too bad, they broke the law and he's the only person to call them out on that fact. Illegals and their family members all need to be deported, they are a cultural and economic hazard on the US.

The rate of illegal immigrants is on the decline. There are plenty of legal latinos in the us, probably much more than illegal latinos. Speaking out against illegals is one thing(which i honestly agree with) but generalizing on what a minority of a group does is ignorant.

He also could have said it in a less offensive way then calling all mexican immigramts rapists and murderers.

Voting third party does make a difference. They won't win this time around but they get more federal matching funds the more votes they get which means a better campaign next time. Don't just stay home, vote third party.

I never stay home ... always vote.  But I'm not naive enough to think that any of the third parties are gaining any traction or making any progress.  Our two party system has a mafia like lock on our elections process and corporations own the parties.

Politics at the national level is just PR for the masses.  It's interesting to watch.  But, at the local level, we can all make a huge difference.  That's where I pay more attention.

Presidents are given to us by the system.

"The rate of illegal immigrants (entering the US) is on the decline"

That's not a very comforting fact, Trump and his supporters are worried about the 30 million that are still here, again illegals and their family members (children) all need to be deported.

Trump didn't say ALL Mexicans are criminals, but he did say that illegals bring a tremendous amount of crime into the US, which is true.

So because one person does something stupid, you want to condemn a whole group? Also trump later "clarified" what he meant about that.

There have been numerous times during US hIstory that mass ammounts of illegal immigrants were granted citizenship. I support it when the children of illegals that are born here are citizens. They're children, and they shouldn't be punished for the fallacies of their parents.

Here's the same incident without so much right wing bias.

http://m.yourhoustonnews.com/pearland/news/teenager-arrested-after-chase-multiple-attempted-assaults-on-law-enforcement/article_e43cc95e-29a3-5902-938a-9a93dc3a4fa8.html?mode=jqm

Frankly the kid has a point.  Cops shoot brown people all the time without any repercussions thanks to the combination of institutionalized racism and the militarization of our 'peace officers'.  Immigrants are also a large part of our work force.  If tomorrow the right wing wet dream of sending them all back was granted, yes, high school dropouts would have an easier time finding jobs, and the U.S. economy would collapse as the rest of the unemployed snubbed their collective noses at breaking their backs for minimum wage.

Not true at all. Cops get indicted and put in jail for shit like that.

Our criminal justice system makes it very difficult for cops to be prosecuted for too much force.

Party identification is largely a rural vs urban thing.  The problems faced in rural America are completely different than what is happening in big cities.  What draws most people to the GOP is the sense that democrats simply give too much money away to moochers on all levels.  More than anything else, I believe that's what draws people to the GOP.

Both parties spread their legs for the same corporations quite willingly and on many of the bigger issues like military spending, banking regulation, domestic surveillance, monetary policy, deficit spending, avoidance of entitlement reform, etc., both parties are very, very similar.

You get it a lot more than coinc does who merely tries to justify the brainwashing he has received. Vote third party if you want a choice. Trump is just a diversion and won't win.

Again, this isn't criticism, I'm simply pointing out what happened, example: Rick Perry goes on and on about eliminating three institutions of government, then during the same speech after saying he will eliminate these 3 institutions of government, he can't even name them. I'm not exaggerating or criticizing, that's what happened, this guy is full of shit and tripped over his own sick during a speech exposing the fact that he has no idea what he is talking about...THEN HE GETS GLASSES so people think he is smart...

Michelle Bachmann is stupider than Sara Palin, this isn't an exaggeration or criticism, it's a fact, both these politicians are boarder line retarded.

Sam Brownback fucked Kansas with his ultra-right wing policies, this is a fact.

Paul Ryan and his path to prosperity would have destroyed this nation, this is a fact

...and again, just like I said in that initial post, instead of discussing he politicians or the issues you turn to personal attack "your just buying into this or that" rather than engage in a debate on the issues...

But in your world its all the fault of gop. The rich assholes just buy as many votes as they need and the pols who didn't get a payoff give speeches against it, but it passes.

I'm not happy with the democrats either, but the republicans are just so absurdly unintelligent that it becomes hard not to poke fun at them, example:

Rick Perry goes on and on about eliminating three institutions in government, then 10 seconds after he  passionately pontificates about this for quite some time,  he can't even name these institutions, he names one then draws a blank, and he looked retarded, it was pretty funny, so he starts wearing glasses to try to look smarter, and people buy it, they don't see it as a juvenile attempt at looking less dumb......

I've never heard Michele Bachmann say anything even remotely with in the realm of logical or intelligent thought...

Sam Brownback almost destroyed Kansas with his retardo-right-wing policies ...schools had to close early, roads could not get paved, food stamps were cut off...Kansas had to borrow from neighboring states....and republicans want to apply this same policy on a national scale

James Inhofe thinks that throwing snowball "to obama" in February means climate change doesn't exist.

Chris Christie is just a fat dousche bag, he actually killed a bill requiring farmers to treat their livestock humanely just because it was presented by democrats and he wanted to spite the opposing party...he is also corrupt as fuck.

Paul Ryan has this Ayn rand view of the poor, where he thinks to even smile at a poor person would send the world  a path to destruction, and he has listed "John galt" (the fictional character from Ayn rand's master-piece-of-shit "atlas shrugged") as one of his idols. his "path to prosperity" plan would have economically ruined America, and if you actually looked through his "path to prosperity" you would see how unrealistic and unintelligent it was...if the name wasn't meant to be ironic, it sure seems that way, because it would be the "path to economic destruction"..

Mitch McConnell is a cartoon turtle....and so on, every single one of them is an unintelligent greedy lying charlatan baffoon and are not even fit to be flipping burgers at McDonald's let alone governing this nation...

...don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of the democrats, but even you can admit how ridiculous these people and their "policies" are...

....I think it's fucked up how they will name a bill "the milk for kittens and baby's act" and then the bill will be a sneaky way to enact unjust or corrupt or just plain stupid plicies...they give it a name that makes it seem impossible to.want to oppose the act...like the "patriot act", it sounds great, we all want to be patriots, but then you find its a bill that allows government spying and deprives citizens of their privacy rights...

Republicans hate to be challenged because they can't defend r beliefs. If you get angry when people challenge your beliefs it's probably because your beliefs are unable to stand up to examination and scrutiny, they are ill-founded and thus can not be defended, so rather than discuss the issues they get angry, they will resort to personal attacks,or changing the subject, anything to avoid actually having to think over and discuss the views they hold...the problem is most people don't think, they would rather say "I'm a republican and that's what I believe" than actually have to think over the issues and form their own ideas and opinions....

I'm getting off topic though...

-E. Borodin

The Dems can't justify their beliefs either, how do they justify NAFTA??  How does Obama justify TPP?

You're trying to point out inconsistencies in Repubs, but it's the SAME thing with Dems.

If you only point out inconsistencies in one group but not the other, you're a hypocrite.

I pointed out that I'm not happy with either party, I'm not a democrat or a republican, and while I'm not happy with the democrats, you have to admit they are not anywhere near as outrageously stupid as the republicans...put politics aside and just look at these people.

Exactly, the differences are trivial, a democrat wins, a republican wins, it's still a victory for the established order...

The president distracts you from the people who really have power, and they give a fuck if a democrat or republican wins because they win either way...

You can't have a true democracy in numbers like this, if we made every state it's own autonomous country democracy may be able to be saved,...it was said "country and urban folks have different needs", which is why I think federal government is detrimental to democracy.

People are going to have to wake up...business  usual is not an option, this system can not sustain itself on its currant trajectory.

... And you've only scratched the surface. Republicans don't even sound intelligent, or say intelligent things. They sound like belligerent assholes. Republicans tell you they are going to fuck the American people over, and they tell you it's for your own fucking good, because they 'need' to spread your tax dollars to their wealthy buddies.

Republican voters are the fucking mindless idiots who actually vote against their own best interest. They are exquisitely vulnerable to the most primitive of human emotions: Greed, hate, and fear.

"you have to admit they (Dems) are not anywhere near as outrageously stupid as the republicans"

I will agree with you to a certain extent, but what the Dems have over the Repubs is hypocrisy.

The Dems talk a better game, but that results in them delivering less as a result.
