Trump is a pompous asshole, and a fool. I'm quite shocked that so many of you have jumped on the bandwagon. It's quite telling. ;-)

He's loud, obnoxious, self absorbed, narcissistic, obsessed with money, total failure at marriage, and compulsively dishonest.

Is that part of his appeal?

I'm loving it. The republican establishment calls him out and then he attacks. Giving out phone numbers. Just pure comedy. His numbers are up.
I see a republican party that is divided and ready to be conquered.

One of the reasons I support him is because everybody thinks he's a fool. Which he's so totally not.

I said it before and I say it again. You don't become a multibillionaire by accident unless you win the Powerball 10 times in a row which is impossible. You don't operate 392 corporations if yo're a fool. You don't build the most luxurious skyscrapers in 15 different countries and sell them before the building is even built if you are stupid. You don't get 300 million dollar bank loans unless you have a solid plan. You don't jump in a Presidential race and own the media's attention, dictate the subjects, cut the grass under every other politicians feet and abuse the fact that they won't risk saying anything politically incorrect and suddenly lead by double digits if you don't have a plan.

Only fools would think that this man is an idiot. Sure he says the darndest things. But when it gonna comes down to every day management of the country, you can be damm sure he's gonna make the right decisions. A man that doesn't make good decision absolutely cannot become a billionaire on this planet. An idiot cannot become a billionaire on this planet. The only idiot billionaires out there are those that inherited them.

There's a expression that says that a fool and his money are soon parted.

I'm sure that if any of you guys had to do business with trump and he saw that you were underestimated him, he would use that against you and eat you alive.

Plus Trump's strategy is so simple and obvious that it's brilliant.

1 - Come out with a bang.
2 - Say something that will put your face on every TV screen in America
3 - Say something that politicians cannot say and don't apologize for it. That way politicians can't hold it against you
4 - Own up to your past instead of trying to hide it
5 - Gradually become more and more coherent

It's practically everything a politician cannot do. By taking that position, Trump opened himsellf up for attacks, whih only added notoriety. Right now, the first question every politician of any party are being asked is "what about Donald Trump?". Normally it should be "why are you running?", but instead, it's all Trump. They are wasting precious minute of scarce TV presence dominated by Trump to anser questions about Trump.

It's fucking brialliant

He's definitely no fool, though i think he'd be a terrible president. I am thoroughly enjoying him throwing all tradition to the wind and shitting on the traditional process . He himself says it pretty well, he has no stake in the game since he's completely self funded so he doesnt give a shit who he pisses off, i respect that at least.

Nice Patlal, but they don't actually dislike him because they truly believe he's an idiot.

They dislike him (as I'm sure you realize) because he's running as a Republican. Because hey... Republicans are evil. They respect the Constitution, hate the poor and wish they would die, don'tcha know.

Bill Gates, back when he was running Microsoft, was often asked political questions.  His answer was refreshingly honest ... He'd say ... "Hey, I'm really good at developing software and making money, that doesn't mean I know anything about politics and how to run the country."

Trump is good at building buildings and taking huge financial risk in his investments.  He's certainly smart in that area.  He appears to lack smarts when it comes to marriage and honesty ... His books demonstrate him to be an enormous liar and very proud of it.

Assuming those "smarts" will translate into the skills to be a great president is kinda sketchy, IMHO.

I never said I support him for President. Although you could do worse.

I'm just enjoying the show and seeing the usual parties that always call the shots be absolutely baffled at his rise.

Unless Rand Paul catches fire, which is virtually impossible in the current warmonger, big government, surveillance society GOP, I plan on doing what I've done for the past twenty years: Not Voting.

I lived in NYC for 12 years (grew up on West Coast) and didn't really find that do be the case although that is the stereotype. There are some loud obnoxious New Yorkers, for sure, but most of them are just a lot more streetwise than people in other parts of the country simply because you have to be.

NYC is a great place to do business.  I actually knew a guy pretty well that was one of Trump's property managers and said Trump played ultra hardball when it came time to get tenants out of buildings he wanted to tear down.  I think Trump's got some baggage that will not be hard to find at all as soon as the Bush dirt diggers start searching.

Republicans 'respect the constitution'? HAH!

Saying isn't doing, and they say a lot of horse shit. They claim to be the 'family values' party too, while they're all running around chasing hookers lmao!

Republicans gave us the Patriot Act, which I find to be incredibly unconstitutional. What have democrats done that's so unconstitutional? And please don't say the ACA, because that issue has been settled.

Also, I'd like to say that I do think Trump is an idiot. Not only an idiot, but a pompous asshole. America is not stupid enough to vote for Trump in the general election. I guarantee you his numbers will only go down in the general election, because the average American voter isn't as fucking stupid as the average dedicated Republican.

A big part of the reason he's polling so well is that he's the only candidate who stands out against the clown car load of crazies the Republican have put on the table. As the right becomes more and more fringe crazy as fuck, the left will continue to dominate.

Mark my words, Dems will take the whitehouse and congress this election, which means we will likely also push the Supreme Court left for generations to come.

If being dishonest meant you couldn't be president, what about obumble? He is the lyingest pres ever. What about shrub, what about Clinton? Lying is part of the job.

He will make deals with Russia and china and later they will realize they were taken to the cleaners. Unlike the current occupant who takes us to the cleaners and hands it to other countries.

Well it's Trump or a career politician that has never said a word that hasn't been weighed by political analysts to make sure he doesn't offend anyone anywhere.

Politicians are like whores. They wear makeup and cute clothes so they can stick out and end up being picked by you instead of you picking another. All you need is to make contacts and practice your speaking skills and you can become a politicians. Where's the real world experience? How does this make them good people to write up contracts? How does that make them anymore knowledgeable than anyone else when it comes to a job that you can't have prior experience doig except if you're on your second term? Politicians don't lead, they can't even say what's on their minds for christ sake. Being a politician is like wrestling. It's scripted, it's to please the crowd.... When it comes to getting support for a bill, what do they do? They whore themselves out to other members of the house for the vote in exchange for future favors.

Trump actually did something. He didn't sit in congress or in the senate long enough to get a lucky break that justifies running for for office. You have Clinton "Hey vote for me, my husband used to be president therefore I'm also qualified", you got Bush "Hey vote for me, my dad and bro were Presidents therefore I'm also qualified".

I hear ya.  I'm hoping that just once in my life there will be a candidate I really believe in that has a serious chance of winning.  I like Rand Paul best of everyone out there and would easily vote for him over Trump, but other than that ... Hillary vs. Jeb?  Damn, I just might go down and live in South America for awhile if one of them gets elected.  I can't stand either one of them.

The first debate is coming soon right?

What do they have to attack trump? Everything has been says a million times already and Trump owned up to everything he says.

Now, Trump on the other hand has know most of these people in real life and saw behind the mask they put on in public. They all try to be perfect people. Plus they are politicians, they can't survive scandals. What doews Trump know about them personally that they dont want to be said? Because remember. Trump said lots of things they don't agree with and yet they all said things such as "Well I'm disappointed".... Nobody really went at the guy other than Mccain asking for him to apologize for a comment about vets (which he won't cause he doesn't have to, Trump isn't trying to please everybody and doesn't care about the political game of polical correctness).

Can't wait.

They dislike him (as I'm sure you realize) because he's running as a Republican. Because hey... Republicans are evil. They respect the Constitution, hate the poor and wish they would die, don'tcha know.

I've been paying attention to politics for many years. I'm comfortable sticking with my statement that Republicans respect the constitution more. As well as the rule of law and personal responsibility. That doesn't mean I like them. I find all politicians to be asswipes. That doesn't alter my opinion. There are things I think the Dems are better at. Personal liberty comes to mind. It's just that for them, their respect for the constitution seems to only come into play when they agree and they have little trouble shitting on it for what they consider the "greater" good.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

I can't stand Hillary or Jebb. Jebb won't be the nominee anyway. He's a terrible candidate, who says a lot of dumb shit, kindof like Trump. However, Trump gets the vote of bigots and cheerleaders who are infatuated with his wealth hands down. Scott Walker has a better shot than Jebb.

I don't understand Hillary's appeal in the slightest. Rand Paul would be the sensible 'out-there' candidate for Republicans. If you vote for Trump in the primaries, you're voting for Hillary in the general, plain and simple.
