So you are saying the laws are wrong? You are saying bankruptcy should be abolished? Is there any point you are trying to make or are you just ranting like usual?

>Trumps bank account wasn't split between creditors. He didn't lose shit.

Every asset of the company gets liquidated, every dime he put in goes to creditors. You might want to check your facts before opening your pie hole.

It's funny how many people on this site disagree just for the sake of arguing. It's always easy to tell when someone is saying shit they don't even believe themselves.

I see in the paper trump is worth over $10B, eat your heart out, zappa. He makes more in an hour running his mouth than you make in a year swinging a hammer.

I also see he is tied neck and neck with jeb for the lead in the gop standings. We may see a trump presidency after all. People are tired of politically correct morons doing as they are told by the big money people. Trump IS a big money person and does not have to take orders. Woof and the other bats will be in a panic if that happens. "will we still get our welfare checks?"

Trump is the one who declared bankruptcy thus fucking the people he owed money to.  If he has so much money there is nothing improper about making people whole even after bankruptcy.  The man is a an incompetent crook in my book and I don't know what anyone would admire him for except for his skill at fucking people over.  He is very good at that.  And self promotion.  I think he is a turd.

Don't you think he invested money to start those businesses? He lost his ass, used legal process to end it and you of course give him a ration of shit because you are jealous. You have not shown one case where the tradespeople didn't get paid.

I know of many cases where tradespeople didn't get paid what they were owed because I know some of them who worked on his shit.  These things do not get reported in the newspapers because they are small potatoes to most of the world.  Trump used other people's money and he fucked them, too.  If you ever file for bankruptcy that means you are fucking somebody over, plain and simple.

I don't believe it for one second.  If he is so rich how come he didn't make the people he ripped off whole?  Is he going to finance his entire campaign himself?  He is right about Mexico but he is still a scumbag.

>I know of many cases where tradespeople didn't get paid what they were owed because I know some of them who worked on his shit

In other words all you have is second hand stories from losers. The court decides who gets paid how much, not trump. If you have a problem with the law, then campaign for changes to the bankruptcy law. Otherwise its obviously a case of envy and sour grapes.

>I don't believe it for one second.

Many of us don't believe you. He filed an official form with the govt. The facts and figures can be checked, unlike your second hand stories. How do the words 'president trump' sound? He will just buy the election if need be. Jeb is a piker compared to him.

I have always had a problem with bankruptcy law.  I think it is horseshit and that any assets a person has should be liquidated and disbursed to the creditors.

Leveraged illiquid assets.  He does not have the cash. Trump has no shot.

This morning I have to formally apologize for an event that happened yesterday at  tthe Pan Am games.

Three athletes from Cuba, rowers I believe, ditched their teams in order to cross the border illegally into the USA. The coach and other staff were unaware of their whereabouts and when they began to worry, it was already too late. The Games are pretty right on the border and we should have seen something like that coming.

You have 3 new illegals as of this morning and it's our fault. Sorry America.

Of course we have control of who gets elected. We just don't control the candidates. Every time an outsider comes along the proponents of status quo politics runs them into the ground.

Corporations own the parties and parties own the candidates.  Until that changes, I suspect the status quo will keep winning out.

You are never clear. If he is such a terrible businessman how come he is so rich? You don't file bankruptcy to fuck people over, you do it when the business fails. If he did anything illegal he would be arrested. Quit being so jealous.

Are you telling me that you don't think business owners can play the legal system for financial gain? With all of your conspiracy theories that one is beyond you? The business is a separate entity from the business owner.

Look, I made a very clear argument. I am not jealous of Trump, or his hair. I don't want him to be president, and I have very good reason for that. I've layed out one reason quite plainly, and so has Zappa.

Are you saying you don't realize the whole purpose of business is to make a profit? I knew you were a little dizzy but I thought you at least knew that. If its legal then its proper. What is not proper is taking bribes for govt favors as hitlery does.

I think it is abundantly clear that many business entities use the legal system and, more importantly, the political system to exploit advantages, favors, legislation, etc. that goes far, far beyond what any rational person would call fair, ethical or even legal.  Our regulatory system is nowhere near up to the task of monitoring and prosecuting the kind of overstep and abuse that the wealthiest can afford.

The fact that Trump has been at or near bankruptcy as often as he  has shows:

1. He takes a lot of risk and that risk bites him frequently
2. He has a legal and financial team that is able to workout severe financial problems
3. He has been able to take advantage of his strengths as a R.E. developer and investor when times are good

Trump admits freely he contributes to the political people that can benefit him and his business entities.  Currently that's not illegal.  I have no doubt whatsoever that Trump's ability to get through the difficult financial straits he has navigated is directly related to the relationships he greases with revenues from his businesses.  He knows the system, exploits it to the max and continues to take massive risk.

If America wants that kind of loose cannon risk taker in the White House, then we must accept the risks he will increase for us.
