Tour de France

So, it's 2 am and they are setting up the track for the first day of the Tour de France.
Right. Underneath. My. Fucking. Balcony!
Tomorrow and sunday they will all pass right in front of my house on the hottest weekend of the year so far.
This should be a good weekend! I'm throwing a weekend long party. The whole city is filled to the brim with stages and events.
Any cyclists here? I know nothing about the sport...
I'll post some pictures.

cycling is so boring and gay IMHO. lycra faggots ruin the road and take up the entire road and are complete idiots. watching them in there little gay naked outfits for days is just so boring.

cricket is boring and its english, I hate almost all sports anyway.
But cyclists on the road are such arrogant assholes that act like they own the road. They get a whole fucking lane and have to come onto the road. They go through red lights and just ignore the road rules. Then they ride in stupid areas like winding roads with no bicycle lane and just ask to be run over.

Well, they are going to own the road for two days. No other traffic, just TV cars and support cars

I am looking forward to the world championships in Richmond, VA September of this year. I will have my eyes on Mike Cavendish.

Mark Cavendish not mike?*
OP - pretty wicked location you have, it's too bad you aren't an outrageous cycling fan. I am a cyclist although don't usually watch these events.... I might start though, i find it exciting to watch. TDF athletes are tough as nails.

You need to wear something large and ungainly on your head, drape yourself in the australian flag and run naked alongside Cadel Evans.
(I think Cadel is actually retired, but I am sure there is another prominent Aussie rider)
