All of the sources you linked said the program wasn't in English. Either those sources are credible or they aren't. If you want to rely on them, then you have to accept what they actually say and not what you wish they said.
It proves the existence of online government "trolls" who manipulate online discussion.
Intelligence agencies work together, even if domestic trolling is illegal, foreign trolling, private trolls or contractors are still trolling. I however don't believe for one second that none of it is domestic. Theyve been caught with their pants down WAY too many times already.

Reading comprehension. the word manipulate doesn't nesd to be there in order for it to be manipulative. But that was obvious.

Yes, sources, that's what I was waiting for. Still waiting on a source about Snowden leaking this information. I really don't like the idea of lies being falsely attributed to Snowden.

Among the core self-identified purposes of JTRIG are two tactics: (1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable. To see how extremist these programs are, just consider the tactics they boast of using to achieve those ends: “false flag operations” (posting material to the internet and falsely attributing it to someone else), fake victim blog posts (pretending to be a victim of the individual whose reputation they want to destroy), and posting “negative information” on various forums. https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20140224/17054826340/new-snowden-doc-reveals-how-gchqnsa-use-internet-to-manipulate-deceive-destroy-reputations.shtml
In an article posted on website Greenwald help create called the Intercept, Greenwald reports secret documents from the GCHQ – the United Kingdom’s version of the NSA – reveal “how western intelligence agencies are attempting to manipulate and control online discourse with extreme tactics of deception and reputation-destruction.” Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2014/02/govt-handbook-for-internet-trolls-uncovered/#iwPRgESShgdQeBrz.99

Can't believe it took 4 pages for those links, amongst a discussion of people demanding links.
Search engines. They're a real thing. Maybe if I put it in an image macro with a catchy caption we can forego actually reading and understanding things.

Last week, the Monsanto Company made it very clear that they were under the gun via social media, and they went on the defense, weakly claiming that those who object with their toxic seeds and deadly farming methods were “elitist,” thereby attempting to undermine us as snobbish people who don’t see the big picture and who don’t care about world hunger.
This week, they’ve upped their game. Mysterious things have been occurring on the social networks: posts have disappeared, some posts are hidden from the timelines of readers, and trolls abound on pages promoting this weekend’s March Against Monsanto, happening worldwide on May 25. http://www.theorganicprepper.ca/monsanto-declares-social-media-war-against-protesters-05212013

I'm fairly certain that the smith-mundt act was repealed so they CAN propagandize within the US borders. I believe the reasoning for the repeal was due to the fact that many foreign nationals live inside the US so we have to propagandize them, right?

I think it has much more to do with Americans, the feds have been looking at us with shifty eyes since Waco.

I agree, but they used the foreign nationals as an excuse to repeal the act. They can propagandize anyone they want now legally.

When people talk about saving baby seals, what they are really proposing is killing jobs. Ecoterrorists would have you believe that they care about the feelings of animals who are probably going to get eaten by orcas or sharks anyway. What they actually want is for the hardworking men and women of the seal harvesting industry to become unemployed welfare recipients so that they can gain some more dependent voters to bolster their leftist cause. Thomas Moore, the true father of communism, also found hunting and slaughter of animals to be distasteful, so you can see that this agenda goes all the way back to the 16th century! How long are they gonna keep trying to push this liberal animal rights agenda on an unwilling public? you would think that these socialist bullies would get the message after 500 years!

yeah, and it's a mixed bag too. i generally disagree with everything the kochs stand for, but radley balko is a bad ass. he writes for the (ironically-named) cato institute as well as the washington post. balko wrote one of the most interesting books on our police state titled rise of the warrior cop that is a must read for every american citizen.

You should read Utopia. its one of the central themes. Moore believed that killing and butchering animals developed a callousness in people that often blossomed into cruelty. In Utopia, the citizens don't do that sort of thing and are sheltered from it by having bondsmen(slaves, though in his conception, they were treated quite well) to do it for them.

I'm amazed at the prospect that killing seals would provide that many jobs. I guess behind every lie, is a little bit of truth. Just like for every broken clock, is a truth that twice a day the time is right. Even trickle down theory, isn't entirely bullshit. Rich people do spend money
Where exactly are "seal products" sold anyway. Whenever we get into the arguments of economics people always talk about "creating jobs" but always leave out efficiency in spending. A job created today that's lost in two weeks is worst then 800 jobs created next year that everyone keeps.
Example: said store front retail/restaurant goes up. The place cannot sell as much food as the equivalent of their lease. Too much overhead + not enough sales = bankrupted in two months
So to close this explanation, how useful are jobs that in total leave those finding more jobs, and waste the resources it took to create them in the 1st place?
How useful is the "seal market"? Is the expenditure of effort and resources worth the value of the seal? Sorry to re vamp the age old gay "let's look at the numbers to answer this question" argument, but if we are arguing the value of killing seals now to create jobs, why not argue the value of killing people while in the military to create jobs? Which is almost surely, a much much better market

Yes. I thought the hilarity of trying to answer the question might add to the irony.
