What did I find?

Habitat: Hawaii. On a rotting hardwood that I cannot identify. A wooded lane with pastures beyond. Approx 2600 ft. Daily rainfall.

Gills: None observed. Looks like they were the favorite part of whatever has been eating on this.

Stem: None.

Cap: Off white/slightly yellow or orange. See the pics. Approx 6 inches across.

Spore print color: No gills/pores. So N/A

Bruising: None observed.

Other information: There didn't seem to be a noticeable scent at all. It looks like something has been eating this. There is a lot of sliminess on the tree as you can just make out in the pics. I'm suspecting probably slugs. I've seen this same mushroom just down the road on another tree, they are in the same shape, so better samples are not available.

I know this one is a bit of a long shot due to its condition. But I'm curious regardless.
